We were looking for a quick eat, and the receptionist at our hotel recommended the brewery across the street. We ordered a Grizzly Brown Ale, an Apricot Wheat Ale, a pizza and a chocolate dessert. The brown ale was great with the chocolate. Only downsize, the brewery closes around 9:00 PM.

Had dinner last night there, and all was good. I was hesitant to get Fish tacos here in the mountains, but had an urge. They were some of the best I've had. My wife said her turkey blt was good as well and the fries were great. Bonus was watching a family of deer browse in the field next door.... More

The Snowshoe Brewing Company was a great find for a casual weeknight dinner while vacationing in Arnold. The food was excellent, as was the wine and service. A place that I will definitely visit again.

Came in for dinner with my fiance after a long flight from NY and drive from Sacramento. Extremely friendly and attentive staff! The food was outstanding and their IPA was delicious, definitely worth a visit for a great meal and brew!

4 adults and 4 kids between age of 2 and 8. Good casual dinner and very accommodating with the kids. Beers were amazing, especially the hefeweizen.

We had limited options to choose from in Arnold as it was a Tuesday and most places weren't open. We came here by a recommendation and hit the spot for my birthday hubby. I had BBQ baby back ribs and he had surf and turf both served with veg and garlic mash. The food was delicious and comforting and the... More

Wife and I went for an overnight trip to Calaveras Big Trees State Park (3 miles up Highway 4) and had a slight issue getting into our hotel room so we ended up at the Snowshoe with no hotel key and no cell phone coverage (T-Mobile - pretty marginal). To the rescue came Tommy newly elected (by us) as California's... More

The set up is fun. The beers are a good quality. The service was rough and the food was.......ok. Slim down the menu, quit trying to be something for every taste. Bring up the quality of the food and you'd have a shining star.

A great option for anyone heading back to the Bay Area after a day up on the slopes at Bear Valley. Lots of options on the menu, good service and the local brew was good. Atmosphere is sporty lodge with TVs for the sport fans mixed in with the snowshoe collection.
