I have eaten breakfast and lunch here on several occassions. Breakfast is the bomb and lunch is also very good.

Loved this place! Went there for dinner in Anderson for the first time and not only was the food outstandingly good but the service was fast and phenomenal, the waiter was already checking if my family and I needed refills before we could ask. Their BBQ ribs are tender and the blackberry bourbon BBQ sauce on it was sweetly delicious.... More

Interior of this restaurant is uncomfortably dated. Server was c o o l. Food was just so so and heavy. We both had upset stomachs after eating food that even at the time didn't look or taste appealing. Everything is smothered in gravy. Potatoes last like they come out of a box. The mack and cheese was heavy and greasy.... More

Humble Joe’s was modestly busy on a Friday night when we ate there and the service was good, but the food was oh so disappointing. I had a Salmon Filet which was overcooked (dry), served with an overly sweet and sticky pineapple glaze. Salads all around were not crisp and the cheap common dressings were fairly awful tasting. Two in... More

Traveling back to Oregon with our daughter whose recovery, from heart surgery and collapsed lungs several days ago, is going well .... we stopped at Humble Joe's in Anderson, CA. Our previous stops here had been before Joe's took over and we had enjoyed it then. I liked Joe's colorful new sign, appreciated the entrance and interior were clean and... More

This restaurant in near other motels and gas stations at an off ramp of the freeway. Easy walking distance-------IF it is not as hot as the day we were there. It was so hot, towels were tied around the brass door handles so you could open the door! We immediately ordered the watermelonlemonade (yes, the words go together), cooled off... More

The young hard working waitress that waited on us was working at Cattlemen's as well the night before. Her boss she be thrilled to have her. She was attentive, fast as well as friendly. The meal was delivered relatively fast but was only average. The place is located in a Safeway strip mall and right off the freeway, so convenient.

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. Our meals were very poor......taco salad and turkey with potatoes and stuffing. Both were not worth eating. We do not recommend going to this restaurant.

Humble Joes is a decent place to eat and a friendly place to take your family. The food is average and the etsblishment is clean. What more could one ask, in a small town?
