Eating healthy at home can be challenging; healthy restaurant eating almost impossible. We were drawn to this place because of the focus on organic and fresh ingredients. My friend is vegan and she was thrilled with the hot pot she ordered which came with a...heap of a large variety of vegetables and customizable seasonings. We shared the appetizer of spiraled zucchini in a tasty sauce. I ordered a salad with salmon accompanied by miso soup and edamame in a spicy covering—all delicious. It made for a filling but light dinner. This restaurant has some unique features to it and since it was our first time there, I felt the staff could have been more forthcoming with the options and instructions to ease our experience. We had to flag down someone for every request.More
It was an interesting experience. They put bowels of food in front of you and you have to pay them to cook your own food. If someone thinks that this is delicious, then their mother has never had a home cooked meal. The food lacked...flavor and originality. Let's just hope that everything there is actually organic as this would be the only redeeming quality.More
We came for dinner on a Sunday evening. When we arrived it was fairly empty, however it filled up quickly. I would advise making reservations for dinner. It is bar seating only for the hot pots. There are a couple of high tables that seat...2 people if you decide not to order the hot pot. The food is delicious and the sauces are amazing. If you don't feel like cooking they do have other options, such as chicken or salmon bowls. Try the gelato, you won't be disappointed.More
The food was good, had an authentic Asian vibe. I thought it was a bit pricey and portions were a little on the small side. The place had a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
This lovely restaurant was named among the top 10 New restaurants in the OC in 2016 by Orange Coast magazine. The house sauces are delicious, the noodle pots and salad were very filling. Portions are generous. Atmosphere is great for a relaxing meal, happy hour...or a nice couples evening out. Be sure to try the house made dark chocolate sea salt or Oreos gelato. Will definitely be back!More
The place was a little too dark but the service was impeccable, we ordered the curry vegan bowl with tofu, for my taste and my friend it had not enough flavor, edamame where's served boiled and boring, salad was fresh, good dressing.
The wrap was...fresh but tasteless.
Seems like the hot pots were the things to order. Everyone had a big one in front of them. Not cheap though.More
True Season was a fantastic find on TripAdvisor and made for an awesome evening meal for the family. The menu is of well balanced Asian and west coast style dining. Ingredients are fresh, great tasting and well presented in every dish. Staff are friendly and...genuine.
Will go back again for more.More
From the taste of the food, to the quality of it, to the service...outstanding!!!
I hate to be the annoying person who walks in before closing. But I had a 3 year old nephew for the day and made a 2 hour drive to knots...berry farm. We where wiped out from the day and in need of some ORGANIC soothing delicious soup. Lauren our server went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I tried ordering food to-go so I wouldn't keep staff working..but the hot soups are made right in front of you, you add condiments to your liking.
I highly recommend this place. THANK YOU Lauren for making it a dining experience for my nephew and I!More
