Food is very good, albeit expensive. The service is good. You might feel a bit rushed as it is all about turnover. Make a reservation for sure. People will line up on the stairs down for a photo opportunity with Ariel. theres a Disney photographer there who will take your photo for a $30 package. I would sit inside, the... More

Every Disney trip has included Ariels Grotto. It was once easily a 5 star attraction. Over the past few years the value has declined. In the past there was a three tier appetizer tray with a variety so kids could eat too, but now they offer only a salad. The meal portions are close to half what they were previously.... More

Rushed in rushed out kind of deal. The food was ok but felt very rushed. No show just the 4 princesses come round to the tables. Which we had already seen elswhere in the park. $104 for myself and my 4 yr old for lunch, Very disappointing. I dont mind paying that kind of money if there is a show... More

I ate at Ariel's Grotto on September 13 for lunch. I was seated 15 minuets BEFORE my reservation. After walking down the stairs I was greeted by Ariel herself (in human form). We chatted a bit and took a picture (which they sold for an extra $30 on top of the cost of the meal itself so be prepared for... More

This place is magical. As an adult Disney aficionado, I love this type of thing. We had a group of 4 go in for lunch at Ariel's Grotto and it was a fabulous experience. The service was delightful. They were constantly on top of our food and drinks making sure everything was taken care of. We had a great conversation... More

My daughter loved dining with the princesses, but the food was bland and gave us all stomach aches. The lobster salad was bland. I was really looking forward to this, but very much disappointed. Crab bisque was good though. We Also had the chicken, it was edible, nothing special. I liked that they gave veggie sticks for the kids though.... More

The five-year-old in our party really wanted to meet the princesses and this character meal was an easy way for the rest of us to avoid multiple and time-consuming lines to see them in the park. It is a well-oiled machine here. Check in outside. Check in inside and receive a buzzer. When it buzzes, head down the circular staircase... More

The food was excellent, especially the crab chowder! Sitting down in the air conditioning was so great after a busy day in disneyland. My girls loved to see so many princesses come to their table to chat! I wish I would've been more interactive with the characters, my little girls got shy and forgot the questions they were going to... More

If anyone in your party is obsessed with meeting princesses, Ariel's Grotto is worth every cent! You will meet 4-5 different princesses up close and have time to take a picture, have them sign something, etc. The meal will run $50/person.

We chose Ariel's Grotto because we had heard how beautiful the patio was, the menu looked a bit more upscale, and we wanted to meet some princesses without standing in lines. This seemed like the solution. We had to wait a long time to be seated, more than 30 minutes, even with a reservation. Our waiter seemed very rushed and... More
