What can I say, they treated us so well, our experience was very positive! Our expectations were exceeded! If you if you’ve ever eaten at the pancake house, you already know how amazing all the food is. It’s an old school style pancake house with all different kinds of delicious pancakes. The bacon is phenomenal the sausage, waffles, everything is just wonderful. My favorite is the fresh squeezed orange juice. Our story is we come from Alaska to spend a few weeks in California every year and we used to go elsewhere for our pancakes, sometimes pancakes is all our autistic son will eat. A couple years ago we found OPH. Knowing that this will be our sons primary source of food sometimes, we started ordering gift cards. And it was really cute because we would always receive a message saying you do realize this is a Original Pancake House in Anaheim. And I would respond by saying yes, yes I do realize you’re in Anaheim and I cannot wait to come and see you, and then we would receive our gift card. Anyways, the point of my review this year is that not only was the food comforting and fulfilling, the employees can be described with the same words. It’s strange to some how important the experience can be, but when going on vacation it’s both magical and stressful and not every one cares or treats you with kindness, it’s expected as this is the world we live in. But when you find a personal little place that greats you by name and gets your pancakes going before you even sit down, it’s a little bit humbling and heartwarming. They are truly a crew of employees that function as a family. They pay attention and they treat us with kindness like we too, are family. Thank you for your hospitality and the hugs ! We will see you same time same place in 2024 as long as we are blessed enough to continue work hard and save! We will be there for our pancakes and smiles ! Cheers to making our trip an memorable one ♥️

This is a classic place that’s been open since 1953. They’ve been open this long for a reason, because the food is good. I had corned beef, hash, and eggs over easy and it came with three pancakes.
This was perhaps the best corned beef hash that I’ve had because it’s the nice diner style, plus they’ve added I could taste some slight onion flavor, which kicked it up a notch.
I’ve been wanting to go here and I wasn’t disappointed. If you’re into the classic old style diner vibe restaurant this is a must if you’re in the area for breakfast but they close at 2 o’clock. I’ve never had lunch here in fact, I don’t even know if they serve lunch.

We've eaten here a few times for breakfast trying different things. Remember, this place is known for their lines out the door because people enjoy eating here, you literally see it while driving. We really enjoy their pancakes above anything else. It doesn't matter which ones you order, they're all great and that's what they're known for. On top of that, they have great service which is also why we keep coming back.

Can’t beat an old school pancake house and this one takes the cake- the PANcake! Service was attentive and prompt. A bit of a wait to get a table, but once we sat down orders were taken and drinks were out in seconds. The wait staff hustles! The menu is full of lots of unique and delicious choices. Food was outstanding. Omelette was fluffy and perfect. Pancakes were sweet and on point. And the coffee was outstanding! Everyone in our family was 100% pleased with their choices.

Went waaay out of my way to eat here and it was a worthy experience. Service was excellent (Francesca is a hoot) as was the food. Had the corn cakes and corned beef hash as a side; monster portions. It cooked perfectly and served hot with warm syrup.

Cannot overstate how wonderful this place's breakfast is(they primarily do breakfast food, if not exclusively, I believe). I've a Michelin-trained chef friend, and he swears by this place. It really does live up to the hype, and there's a crowd for a reason.
Be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation. This place has a good reputation, and hence there is certainly a wait, especially on a weekend.
You can't lose with anything here. I personally love the bacon, waffles, and eggs. If you love breakfast food, you absolutely must go to this place, don't even debate it. The waitstaff is phenomenal, but you come here for the food, Everything is made in-house, from scratch, and is quite lovely. It's just honest, quality, and beautiful food. Some of the best breakfast food you will ever have, no doubt.

It is hard to believe I've never reviewed the Original Pancake House on Lincoln before. This place was a staple for me and other Disneyland Cast Members. It was an especially happy place for us after working Grad Nites.
I'd love to talk about all the amazing items on their incredibly extensive menu, but I swear in almost 50 years of dining here I think I've had two things; corned beef hash & eggs and a ham & cheese omelette with a waffle instead of three pancakes.
As a rule, when I find a place that makes their own fresh, corned beef hash I try it. I tried it (long ago) and it was wonderful so it has remained a favorite. I am also a huge fan of Denver omelettes (bell pepper, onions, ham & cheese), which technically OPH doesn't have, but I've had great luck in having them add the peppers and onions to my h&c omelette and substituting a waffle for the the three pancakes that omelettes come with. In other words, I have always found the staff wonderfully accommodating to requests.
I've never technically ordered the Dutch Baby at OPH, but I usually wind up finishing my mother's, because it is what she always orders (but can never finish). If you are not local and don't have an OPH near you, the Dutch Baby is what I'd order. It is great and unique.
I love the staff here, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Original Pancake House is a place worth visiting if you are a local or a visitor.

My wife and I were looking for a place to have breakfast and we stopped here. The pancakes are fantastic with many kinds to choose from. I had the eggs and bacon with, of course, Pancakes. We will definitely eat there again.

Got to The Original Pancake House had about a 10 min wait. It’s California was a nice day to sit outside and wait. Once seated customer service was excellent and lots of food for the price. Had the hash and eggs. If you leave here unsatisfied it’s your own fault. Hope to visit again.

Visited on a Friday at 11.30am. Had a short wait of 5 minutes for a table. Very busy ,always a good sign. Friendly welcoming staff, good but loud atmosphere. Huge range on the menu so many great choices. After being shown to our table by the seating lady our waitress came and introduced herself brought us water and our menus. We went for bananas and cream, pineapple pancakes, strawberry crepes and hash brown with fresh orange juice and cranberry juice for our drinks. The bananas and cream came out first as a starter about 5 minutes after placing our order then they brought the other 3 dishes out about 10 minutes later. Our dishes were plentiful, hot and really good. The bananas and cream came with whipped and pouring cream, the strawberry crapes were with warm strawberries that had been frozen (which was fine the waitress did tell us this on ordering) The pineapple pancakes had fresh chunks of pineapple in the pancakes as well as a pineapple sauce on the side to pour on. The hash brown was incredible!! Just one large hash brown. We enjoyed everything we had and would definitely visit again over any other breakfast place if in the area.

We stopped by on a Saturday morning only to see people waiting outside. It was just the two of us so the wait was less than 15 minutes. The servers are very attentive and Jose took our order and we had our food in about 10 minutes. The cheesy spinach omelet, hash browns, and pancakes were spot on delicious. I love that they give you whipped butter and not cold in a packet butter. The restaurant maintains its vintage charm and it gets loud inside.

Our visit to the Original Pancake House for breakfast was the perfect choice for satisfying morning hunger. The pancakes here are fluffy, rich and filling. We were full until dinner. A great choice.
