The service was good. The food was mediocre. The food was not hot. The refried beans and pico were the best items on the breakfast Buffett.

I've dined here many times. It's located in the Four Points hotel. I stayed at the Four Points this week and while the hotel leaves much to be desired, I'd recommend dining at Tru-Grits if you're nearby. Staff is friendly, and the menu, while small,...offers something for everyone. I can say that I have had everything on the menu at least once. This time around, I had the lobster ravioli one night and the cast iron mac and cheese with lobster and brussel sprouts another night. Both were fantastic as usual. I love the Russian Mule and the Anaheim Iced Tea at the bar! Great spot and decent prices.More
We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton and visited Tru-Grits for happy hour twice. The staff were EXCEPTIONAL in their care, kindnesses, and service. The $5 pints of IPA and appetizers were great too!
For the past 13 years I have had a job that involves a lot of traveling which means a lot of hotels and restaurants. This weekend I stayed at the Sheraton and ate at TruGrits every morning. Their breakfast buffet was the BEST I have...ever had!! From the eggs, to the bacon, the fruit, the muffins and even the coffee was EXCEPTIONAL!! Another co-worker with me said the same thing and we were telling our whole travel team about it! I rarely write a review because I am so busy but I had to this time because this place was amazing!More
We only ate here for breakfast, but the lunch & dinner options looked great and were reasonably priced from what we saw. Although, the drinks were overpriced. The breakfast buffet was great! It was a reasonable price and was easily one of the fresher hotel...buffets. We were only there for about 15 minutes and the staff were constantly changing out the hot food items. The scrambled eggs were delicious and the fruit was freshly cut and wonderful. The staff was super friendly and frequently clearing plates and refilling our waters. And we were encouraged to take coffee and juice to go when we were leaving. All in all a great experience. Here is what was offered the day we visited: Scrambled Eggs, egg scramble with cheese and sausage, bacon, sausage, hashbrowns, mini pancakes, oatmeal with all the fixings, a variety of cereals pastries and bread, yogurt, freshly cut fruit, granola, coffee, teas, juice & milk.More
30 RESTAURANTS in 10 days and you are surprisingly #2. The management is a true Restaurateur. The attention to details is wonderful from the cleanliness, decor, room temp, music, staff, parking, table setting to FOOD. We even spied into the kitchen to check out the chefs....What a risk thinking that a chain hotel can rock simple dishes such as an Edamame plate / Burger / Chicken Noodle Soup! Thank-you waitress Tina... you deserve a raise for sure for making the bloody tourists feel welcome. CONGRATS... only the Chateau Marmont was #1 but 3 times more expensive!More
Really enjoyed my beef dip. Friendly and well priced. Not bad for a hotel restaurant. Service was alright, could have been a bit more attentive but when they were, great!
You can get the Tru Grits Brunch sit down or to go. The staff did an amazing job serving the crowd, understanding that most people are on a schedule. The chefs did a phenomenal job as a buffet is concerned; all food was hot/cold fresh....Well worth the visit since the Four Points Sheraton does not offer continental breakfast nor does the area offer many breakfast options on walking distance.More
We had breakfast, dinner and takeaway in room here at various times during our stay. Really was great if you couldn't be bothered to go elsewhere. The food was plentiful and fresh as well as very tasty. During our dinner visit the staff were great...and ensured that we had everything we could need. We had a very enjoyable dinner with friends. Relaxing atmosphere and inexpensive.More
If you are staying along harbour boulevard and are over the standard diner food then Tru Grits is worth checking out. It was modern and renovated inside and located below a hotel. The service was exceptional and the quality of food was well worth it’s...price compared to the cost and quality of the rubbish you get at the diners.More
No comp breakfast like almost every other hotel in the area, Paid $17 for breakfast buffet that only meat on it was old dried out ham, they said they were out of bacon, sausage, and pancake mix
We were staying at this hotel so our firs night we decided to stay in instead of trying to find a place somewhere outside since this was our first time here. It was the right choice. They had something for everyone after a long day...of travel. The staff were friendly and the food was served as it was ready for our large group. Better to eat it while it’s hot/cold. Apparently the pasta came with an egg on top so we requested it without the egg. The meat for the burger and meatball was probably local beef so not the flavour we are used to.More
Food was poor quality and the restaurant smelled like rotten food. The waiter was nice but it didn’t make up for the crappy food.
This restaurant's Executive Chef is a Food creators and artists, I have never had such amazing Pork Belly Pasta , Sea food Pasta ,Giant Meatball Pasta ,I always miss these Pasta after eating the tasty food
Service was bad. Food was blah. Lackluster all around. Definitely disappointed. Not sure I would go back unless I were staying at the restaurant and had few other choices.
