Met my expectations for a family birthday deluxe celebration.Our party of five ordered lots of appetizers,all delicious but some were small. We all enjoyed our different entrees .The crowning glory was my special complimentary birthday desserts presented in grand style. Be sure to order the dessert soufflé. They are big and spectacularly presented. So glad we finally made it here

I was looking for a nice, independent (not chain) restaurant that was open late on a weeknight since we had a late entry time for the nearby Van Gogh Immersive exhibit (now closed). I was also looking for someplace a little special for an early birthday celebration and the White House Anaheim was perfect. For a Thursday night in mid-September, there were a surprising number of people there for what is a somewhat expensive, special occasion restaurant. There is a parking lot but no self-parking, only valet for $6 (not surprising for close to Disneyland). We were greeted quickly and warmly and taken to our patio table as I had requested. Tables were spaced widely apart for the pandemic, but which also made conversation very easy. It was a warm night, so no need for heaters, but they were available. The space is lighted for a party (would be great for a rehearsal dinner or wedding), including festive, lighted artificial trees, whose effect is multiplied by the mirrors in the adjacent dining room. The menu is not extensive but there were plenty of choices for a traditional Italian menu. We started with the shrimp tempura appetizer and a side of brussels sprouts. The shrimp was cooked to perfection, as were all of our pasta dishes. Service was attentive but not rushed. We had an 8:30 reservation and by 9:30 we were the only ones left on the patio. We were enjoying the privacy when our servers brought out a large platter with three small desserts with Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce around the edge. What a nice surprise. Everyone from the hostess, to the valet, to our servers seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which made for a wonderful relaxing experience. I highly recommend visiting for a special occasion if you are in the area.

Reserved table for 3 on Google maps about 90minutes before booking time.
Felt a bit awkward when we got there as we were definitely not dressed for a restaurant as beautiful as this. However we felt very welcomed and was treated with much respect despite our attire.
Beautiful exquisite interior. Staff was phenomenal. We were checked on by various staff at regular intervals. Delicious complimentary bread and butter was served.
The choice of our dishes was superb, cannot fault anything. All dishes were cooked to perfection, distinct flavours with every bite.
Lobster pasta, never tasted any pasta this good.
The banana dessert was out of this world.
Highly recommended, just perfect 👌🏼

We hosted a customer here while the food was good the service took away from it. Our waiter Eric was actually good but we had two other gentleman constantly - and I mean constantly! - hovering and asking us questions. Constantly reaching all over the table for things and making it very hard to have nice conversation. Sure it’s nice to know they’re attentive but the waiter was doing his job just fine on his own. We don’t need two others asking if we need anything or interrupting us to ask if they can take this or that EVERY 2 min. They took chairs from the table and actually took a plate from someone as they asked if they were done and they could respond NO fast enough.
While there we saw the hostess rudely tell a waiting group to step aside.
As we left the parking attendant actually got into a verbal altercation with our Uber. While the driver isn’t a customer of the restaurant we were and apparently once we pay and are headed out they don’t care about that. He was swearing at the Uber driver and was very aggressive with him, even threatening to take things to a physical level. It was so disappointing and a classy establishment should not have anyone like that representing them in ANY way. (The valet guy was a young man who looked like Jordan Love - don’t know his name and he wouldn’t tell it to our driver)

There is nothing 'Italian"about this place.The "That's Amore"music is embarrassing.
On a fully booked Thanksgiving the servers tried hard.Happily brought extra plates so we could share a $11.50 desert and uncorked and served the wine we brought.Seamlessly made separate checks for our three couple party.BUT:I do not let people drive my Tesla and the only on-site parking is a required valet.I had to drop my wife and walk 4 blocks in a not very nice neighborhood,to find a place on the street.The building has many rooms and the kitchen is a long way away so the food was not hot.My wife ordered a $27.95 pasta entree.Luke warm,dry, tough,teaspoon of sauce in the middle and small serving.It was too far into the meal and they were too busy for her to order something else to get enough to eat.I was embarrassed and appalled when I saw it being served.
I ordered a Caesar salad $13.50.To their credit they did add the anchovies I requested.I planned to share it as we always do.Again totaly unsatisfactory.Nothing like any we have ever had anywhere and the smallest. The few bites were not enough even for me.Again when it was served I couldn't believe it.

The Osso Buco $43.50 was "watery" more boiled then brazed and the polenta was too thin. The worst version I have ever had.
I can't believe any of the positive reviewers have even been to a quality Italian restaurant.

A truly exceptional experience from start to end. We sat outside in the beautiful garden area loving the amazing service and delicious food. We loved the Scalloppini Funghi. In addition to splitting the cold and crisp White House Greens salad, we also enjoyed a side of sautéed spinach served piping hot.
Server George was incredibly helpful in our making the right choices given some items we couldn't eat. And he suggested a great Apple Tart dessert.
Kudos all around for a truly lovely evening.

We were visiting from Ireland (via Austin Texas ) and our family recommended the White House .. there were a few of us in the party but From the moment we arrived they looked after us very well
and were most helpful to bring some dinner 1 st to the only child in our group
( by the way she was a little darling during our whole dinner )
All the food was varied and tasted fresh clean great food and of course drinks and wine .. so we had 3 people looking after us !
It was an all round great experience and we had to finish our evening with the famous Jackie O desert … a feast for the eyes !!
What a great night and it was great having our own private room even if it was a glass room !! .. excellent visit .. we’ll be back !!

We would go back again anytime. The classy restaurant was very busy but we were seating quickly and the overall service was very good. The food was outstanding and I could not pass up the Salmon with White Chocolate Mashed Potatoes.

The restaurant is absolutely lovely. The staff is attentive and the food consistently good. Every dish is beautifully presented. The owner's charity, Caterina's Club, feeds children at local Boys and Girls Clubs daily. A classy operation!

One word can describe our experience at Anaheim White House. . . Fantastic! From our arrival and the warm greeting at the valet to the sparkling Christmas lights on our walk in, everything was exceptional. The courtesy shown by owner Bruno and his entire staff was nothing less than extraordinary! Our server Jake was professional and personable as was our food delivery person! I cannot say enough about the happy, joyful, "customer is king" atmosphere that we experienced. We were never rushed, our occasion was celebrated and pictures offered. On top of that, the food was so delicious. We both had the special branzino with beurre Blanc sauce and saffron mashed potatoes. We shared a Caprese salad, that was divided in the kitchen for us and was so fresh and tasty! The souffle was so fluffy and light I have to assume all calories were removed!
Definitely a special occasion restaurant but with so many tasty options on both the menu and the reasonable wine list, we definitely won't wait for another special occasion to dine here again!

Service was great. The food was very well presented. The atmosphere was very elegant. Staff was very nice. Our alcoholic drinks were great. I found the appetizers to be very good we had both the tempura and the California roll and the lobster ravioli all three were delicious. The T-bone was very good the Osso Buco was good not great. Desserts were fabulous particularly the cherries jubilee.

My hubby & I were given a gift card to this restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed our night out! The lobster ravioli was incredible, I enjoyed the caprese salad was delicious (unique with burrata with pesto) and the signature salmon with white chocolate mashed potatoes was so good! My husband got the carbonara which was OK, a little dry. The service was 5-star. We cannot wait to return!

The food here is AMAZING! 5-stars all around. The lobster ravioli and salmon was incredible! My husband got the pasta carbonara which was really rich - too dense, but good flavor. The service was also top-notch. It was fun sitting outside. Can't wait to return!

There is a great atmosphere at the White House, and we had so much fun there! The restaurant was spotless, and we saw that all food handling and safety precautions were being followed. The wait staff, and especially Eric, were outstanding. Bruno's visit to our table was most enjoyable. Our entrees were distinctive and delicious!!! We will long remember our special night, and look forward to returning soon.

It’s a beautiful place, with servers that make you feel at home. My wife and I went with another couple, and had a great time. Had the veal special, thinly sliced over mozzarella, so tasty, maybe the best veal dish I’ve ever had. Great bread, which is always a key ingredient in any good Italian meal. Capped it off with the “Jackie O” dessert, which looks amazing, but wished I had had the patience to wait the extra 20 minutes for the grand marnier soufflé instead. Wonderful place for a special occasion or romantic dinner date.
