This was perhaps one of the best dining experiences we've ever had, especially at any of the Disney properties! Our server, Rodney, was knowledgeable, personable, and over all a fantastic server. We didn't tell them it was my birthday, and Rodney must've heard my daughter saying happy birthday, and he brought me a special treat! The bread basket was to... More

I wish we'd discovered this place earlier in our Disney trip. On the last night, frazzled and tired after standing in lines or pounding hot pavement all day, we wandered into the Napa Rose with no reservations. No worries: we collapsed into extremely comfy armchairs in the lounge and soon had lovely (strong!) drinks and appetizers in before us. Yes,... More

We wanted a date night meal during our trip and Napa Rose looked to be the place. It did not disappoint. They had a wonderful and extensive wine menu, accommodating range of fresh and delicious menu items, extremely professional servers and an incredible bread basket (it seems strange to review a bread basket, but it was really that good). Our... More

I escaped here to get some work done and choose to sit in the lounge. It was early enough so it was relatively quiet. Service was on point, cocktail and wine list is extensive and inventive. I wasn't in the mood for something big so I got the yellowtail hamachi and octopus starter. It was AMAZING, both in taste and... More

OK - this place is a signature dining location and the atmosphere and decor state that right from the moment you walk in the door. The menu was fine - but I was not blown away for the price of the meal. The wine list was excellent. Order a bottle of Lasseter - you will not be disappointed.

We recently celebrated our 15th anniversary at the Napa Rose at Grand Californian. We've been there several times in the past for special occasions. While pricey the dining experience is always worth the money. We are not wine enthusiasts, but always take advantage of the staff's expertise and order wine. All the servers are also sommeliers, and the restaurant maintains... More

If money is no object, go for it. This place has small portions and you'll need to order at least one side dish with your entree to make it a meal. I had the $42 duck which was tasty, served with figs and other beautifully complimentary flavors, but was still quite hungry when I was finished. Same with the lamb... More

Book the Chef's table if you can. It was a wonderful two hours and five courses. There were 4 people in section where I was sitting and each person had a different presentation. I also had the wine tasting with it. Wonderful taste treat food tour of California. My service at this restaurant has always been top notch. The staff... More

We had dinner reservations and were seated immediately. This restaurant, though a little dated, is gorgeous inside and out. We were greeted firstly by a "busboy," the most pleasant part of our evening, who promptly filled two water goblets for us. Our waitress came over eventually and was professional although not very friendly, certainly not friendly in the Disney sense... More

On a recent visit with my wife for a special Chef's Table dinner. I so wanted to give the Napa Rose 5 stars; alas, I cannot. The atmosphere was excellent; we were seated by the dessert prep area and enjoyed watching the preparation and plating of varied desserts. This was very interesting to a foodie. The food was overall very... More
