I love Roy's. I've been to Roy's on Oahu (including the "mother ship", Kauai, the Big Island, and now in four cities on the US mainland. Friends and I saved this to be out big, expensive dinner out on a recent trip for a conference in Anaheim. Well, the butterfish misoyaki was as good as I have had elsewhere, but... More

I have eaten at 5-6 Roy's on the west coast and several in Hawaii over the last decade, but this was our first visit to the Anaheim location. We enjoyed a cocktail at the small bar before an early dinner seating. Drinks and food are discounted during their Aloha hour. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable as my husband... We had dined at Roy's in hawaii several years ago. Our hope was this was going to be as good and it was. Our waitress was super friendly and made the dinner better. We had mai tai's and lobster potstickers to start and both were delicious. The next course was the roy's trio and sea scallops. Both dishes were prepared... More

This is a nice location. Book in advance due to the many conferences that hit town. Parking is easy next door. But we walked from conference centre. Party of 7 seated outside. Bit noisy and early evening the sun was quite low making it difficult. A few parasols but more needed. Service was slow for drinks. But improved after we... More

I've been to Roy's in other cities, the Anaheim restaurant won't disappoint. Good selection of seafood mainly, pan-asian style. Portions aren't large, but that isn't always a bad thing! Quality of food preparation was excellent, service was excellent, and you pay for all this quality. Worth a visit especially if you've never been to a Roy's, but even if you... More

We enjoy Asian fusion food, so we walked from our hotel to a restaurant and shopping district in Anaheim called the Garden Walk. There were no tables available without a reservation, but full service was available at the bar. We had excellent service and the same high quality food you would find at Roy's in Honolulu or Philadelphia.

The quality of the food and service at Roy's were excellent but the portions were very small for the prices charged. I paid $50 for a 3-course meal and left feeling hungry.

Although we didn't see a ton of "Hawaiian fusion" menu items, we did have a nice meal (I had fish, my friend had spare ribs). We tried to make a reservation but was told the place was full, other than the bar/lounge that was first come, first served. When we showed up we got a table straight away. The service... More

Anaheim is an odd place at best and the food offer keeps true to this. In between truly dire dining outlets a few good ones are around. Roy's is one. Actually ate there twice - lunch and dinner. Great sashimi, hamachi salmon and filet mignon in a lively and buzzing environment. Great service too. Excellent

This is a classy restaurant. A great option if you like Japanese fusion and great to sit at the counter and watch the chefs at work
