Service was very good, and the butterfish entree was outstanding! I seriously considered ordering it again for dessert.

Roy and his staff have it down really well. You and your group or date will really enjoy your dining experience at Roy's. This place understands service and assists you in making good choices. They even suggested a non-menu item to help us enjoy a dish several of us wanted with a half portion option and it was delish. So... More

This restaurant does not appear on many reviews. Found it to be a delight for special occasions. Great service and the food was delicious. I felt special on my birthday and enjoyed the evening.

I really did not have a good experience here. The place was packed and noisy. Service was very, very slow. The mai tai drinks that I had were pretty good, at least. Other than that, the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered off of the prix-fixe menu and was disappointed with what I was offered. The filet... More

It is not the first time I have visited this restaurant. Unfortunately, tonight was the first time we had poor service. I made the reservation early this week as I was very much looking forward to dinner here. We were seated right next to the kitchen and it was quite noisy. We asked to be seated somewhere else, and after... More

We were here during large convention so this place is packed. The chefs have the skill to make great dish, as shown in the main (rib eye, butterfish, etc) but the sides were poorly done. Servers are nice and friendly but overly energetic and always in a rush. Not what you see in a fine dine restaurant. Typical of tourist... More

I love Roy's. I've been to Roy's on Oahu (including the "mother ship", Kauai, the Big Island, and now in four cities on the US mainland. Friends and I saved this to be out big, expensive dinner out on a recent trip for a conference in Anaheim. Well, the butterfish misoyaki was as good as I have had elsewhere, but... More
