Ruth's Chris may not be the best steakhouse in the country but for a chain, it is pretty darn good and typically does not disappoint. It's nice but not stuffy so I don't mind taking my kids (well behaved) when we go. Actually Ruth's is...our go-to whenever we are out of town with the kids as it is their favorite restaurant. For this visit it was a family celebration a the end of a multi-day trip to Disneyland. What a great meal after three days of eating "Disney", everything was fantastic! Our party of 9 had a variety of steaks and seafood. Service was amazing, food was great, and cocktails were poured just right. Absolutely no complaints. This particular Ruth's lives up to the consistency I expect from the brand and I would return without question. The only "knock" if there is one is that this location appears a little more lax on the dress code but not too surprising as I think some people go straight from the amusement park to dinner here. Overall a great experience.More

Still the BEST in our opinion for quality and consistency. Service was top notch and we didn’t feel rushed . It was a very busy night but they are really on top of their game here.

Tonight’s dinner raised the bar for Ruth’s Chris. I travel across North America and frequently patronize this chain, sometimes with mixed success. Somehow, Ruth’s Chris has heard my comments in Anaheim and the dining experience here is totally satisfying. For example, a party wearing hats...and over-celebrating was asked to remove their hats and quiet down for the benefit of others. For a moment after watching this exchange I envisioned myself at Ruth’s in the Crescent City. Tonight, our dinners were superb and the manager Mel evinced his commitment to customer satisfaction by personally checking on each table to verify. Very well done tonight Ruth’s Chris!More

We were really excited and looking forward to this dinner having spent the whole day walking around Disney. We got there early and decided on drinks at the bar and wait for our table. While waiting, the barkeeper offered us a set menu which was...exactly what we were looking for. Once we were seated we had to specifically ask for this set menu. We ordered filets with lobster and were excited. When the filet came it was not what we expect from a filet. The meat we got was not tender and not tasty. It was chewy in parts and as for the handicraft, it was not parried properly at all. Our complaint was registered but not acknowledged in any way. It doesn’t matter to us - cause we won’t be back here for sure.More

Lately, I been having difficulties with my dining out experiences, including the trendy and “Bestiales” downtown Los Angeles restaurants. With these premises in mind, I am glad to finally be able to make a favorable five-start entry. We were gladly surprised by the level of...service the staff offered and the delicious food. The restaurant’s vibe is inviting and relaxing. It is well managed. The waiter and the busser were very attentive and helpful without over intruding. This is hard to find now a days. The food was flavorful and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the appetizers, the steaks (leaned the medium-plus term) and to the side dishes. The management at this location deserves commendations for a job well-done. I could see them walking around through the dining area, observing the details of the operation. I liked that very much. As a local OC resident, we will be returning to this location often with friends and family.More

My husband and I made reservations for our anniversary here while we were visiting the area. We made reservations at 6 pm assuming we would be finished with Dinner before 7:45, we had another event we need to be at by 8:30. Unfortunately we had...horrible service and it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our main course. Things would not have been too bad if the server would have checked up on us from time to time, and communicated to us what the issues were, but no one came back to us after dropping off our plate of appetizers. No drink refills, for wine or champagne. At 7:15 we contemplated leaving and paying our check on the way out to exit. Finally the manager came over and said our food would be out shortly. Between 7:20-7:30 we finally got our main course. We had to rush to eat and asked for the check so we could pay and be on the road. The food we did quickly eat was good, but we would have liked to have the time to enjoy it had it not taken so long. Overall, I highly doubt we will be back to this location. There are many other Steak Houses in the area when we visit Anaheim again.More

The location was easy to find in front of Courtyard by Marriott and they have a shared parking lot with the hotel. The staff were accomodating and the food was delicious. Had the majority of the appetizers. The most memorable is the artichoke and cheese...dip with bread. It was made with a different kind of cheese and it was delicious. Had a petite filet medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The side of mushrooms were delicious and I want more already. Had the pomograte martini with sugar and it was made perfectly as well. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely the place to bring someone to give them a memorable time.More

I will cross out Ruth's Chris in Anaheim from my favorite restaurant list. I used to like their high ceiling and comfortable dining room. Now, the restaurant is like a cafeteria packed with tables. They erected two dark-color tall partitions in the main dining room...so that they could put tables on both sides of the partitions. My table was right next to one of these tall partitions. It was uncomfortable. The hostesses looked like robots without smiles. The servers disappeared most of the time. My Old Fashioned was made with hundred pieces of ice. The rib-eye meat quality was poor.More

Had a simply wonderful experience here with a party of five. We dressed up for a special meal to celebrate the end of a special trip to CA & Disneyland. Our reservation for 8:30 PM was honored, and we were taken right back to a...great table. Attention by our waitress was pheonomenal, and everything ordered was fantastic. Ambience is really special. If you're looking for a classy meal near Disneyland, this is your spot especially with Steakhouse 55 now closed in the Disneyland Hotel. Will be back on our next trip.More

To start off I must say the stakes were fantastic.. but this place does nickel and dime you.. first off valet parking only minimum $5 per car.. then if you ask for bottled water you will get a big fancy bottle of expensive water. If...you order the $79 steak that's all you get is that steak nothing extra.. We ordered two bone in ribeye steaks.. two salads 2 bake potatoes and a petite filet mignon.. no drinks nothing extra. That was $249.00 We enjoyed the steaks very much.. we booked online reservations and added that it was for a birthday. it's was nice to see when we got to the table a birthday card with some glitter.. good food but very expensive..More

Service and food are up to Ruth Chris' standards everywhere else. We were seated right away, properly distanced from other tables. Our waiter (Tone) was super cordial and fast. To celebrate the reopening of restaurants, We ordered the porterhouse for 2, with stuffed mushrooms as...appetizer and as sides we had the lobster Mac n cheese and grilled asparagus (with hollandaise sauce). I watered everything down with a glass of Cabernet and we ended the evening with a bread pudding with Jack Daniel's sauce I can't get over how good everything always is in here. Definitely recommend!More
