With a boatload of people waiting to be seated at the Steakhouse 55 located in the Disneyland Hotel, I opted for a meal in the lounge. Rather than spending $60 or more for a steak dinner, I had a French Dip sandwich for $18 that was absolutely delicious. Honestly one of the best French Dip sandwiches I've ever eaten. If... More

I had a lovely filet Mignon but unfortunately my wife's meal was very disappointing. She ordered what she was led to believe was a steak but was actually roast beef which was over cooked. This was particularly disappointing when Fiona had asked our server, Steve, specifically to clarify before ordering so she felt misled. Sides were okay and my creme... More

First of all, it is extremely pricey but we knew that going in. The food was incredible. The steaks were wonderful and the sides were huge. I would suggest sharing. Desserts sounded great but was too stuffed to try any.

My husband enjoyed his meal. My meal was actually very ordinary. The service was snobby and belittling. Do not go for the prime rib slow roasted. The filet Mignon was good though. The beans were really yum but the asparagus ho hum. Would not go back and not worth the money.....especially once converting Aussie dollars. I am lucky to know... More

had to try here after reading about it...for the cost, we have had better steaks and sides. the wait staff must have asked 3x if we wanted to add salad, soup, appetizers.... we always said no... my thought is once we say no, don't ask again. the decorations were fantastic and it was nice for some peace and quiet after... Had a wonderful night with friends at this fine establishment, Service is old school luxury with a friendly touch. That makes it really nice. Food is delicious and the MAc&Cheese is so good that it makes it a must to accompany your meal. The green beens are also superbly well cooked and the shrimp cocktail was perfect! It is expensive... We did the high tea for lunch - available over the weekend. The service was exquisite. The food was great and too much! You can try as many teas as you like! We had the sandwiches and the scones and packed the cookies for later!

Steakhouse 55 is located in the Disneyland hotel. I have been many times for dinner, but earlier this year they starting serving high tea. The place is very elegant, and it wasn't a surprise that they served an elegant tea. Each person got a choice of tea, and we had the all inclusive tea so a sparkling beverage was included.... More

Steakhouse 55 did not wow us. Considering it was the most expensive restaurant we ate at during our 8-night trip to Disneyland, it was neither the best nor the most memorable dining experience. The atmosphere is typical of a clubby, upscale steakhouse (with the enhancement of vintage photos lining the walls). It kind of matches the semi-corporate-y ambiance of the... More
