Where I live, we have only one okayish Korean restaurant, so we often try to find Korean food when we are traveling. Went to Bowl’d while visiting, on recommendation of a family member who lives in the area. We ordered three different rice bowls plus...chicken wings, and all exceeded expectations! I’m not even sure what all the ingredients were in my rice bowl (sizzling, with chicken and mixed rice) but it was a lovely tasty blend of flavors, nothing heavy or oily, FELT healthy! Well prepared chicken too, seemed to have been roasted first and then chopped into the mix. No rubbery strips that were cut before cooking! (pet peeve of mine). Each dish was served with tasty clear soup and a there was nice array of side dishes for the table. Our server was friendly and attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu. If I lived here, I’d be eating at Bowl’d several times a week!More

This is our new favorite place for a casual dinner. The menu is extensive and there's a wide variety of food on the menu. The small plates include Korean savory pancakes, rice bites and lots of interesting salads. We love the bowls, where you can...choose the ingredients -- brown or white rice, veggies, and lots of protein choices There's many kinds of soups and stews too. All very yummy. Vegan friendly. The staff is attentive and friendly.More

Came here in a weeknight for dinner and we were not disappointed! The sizzling works with bulgogi was excellent, I ordered it with mixed grains instead of white rice and was shocked at how good the grains were, crispy and salty and delicious when smothered...with the sauces they gave us). We got so much food that we have more than enough leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The only thing that wasn’t my favorite was the Job’s Tears tea, but that might just be personal preference. It tasted like chunky, warm cereal milk to me. Still glad I tried it, I’d never tried anything like that before!More

I was in town for a training and chose this place based on reviews and proximity. It was a great choice. Rapid friendly informative service, great food, and a good beer selection. I’m not too familiar with Korean food so needed some education. It’s family...friendly and had a number of Korean customers.More

I've been here for lunch and dinner. The food is very good, the service is excellent and the people really friendly. On this particular occasion we were there for my aunts birthday. We had a party of 9. We all tried to order something different...but it came out that most of us either ordered the short rib or the pork stomach. I had the short ribs cooked with mixed rice. It was very good. We also order different types of pancakes for the table as an appetizer. I wasn't big on the seafood one (I dont like seafood) but the spicy ones were great. You might want to try their barley tea, You have to ask for this its not on the menu.More

Try the bibimbop sizzling rice bowl, with the usual choices of meats or with tofu or mung bean cakes! You get a bowl of clear soup and half a dozen condiments, including kim chi, to add to a full-to-the-top bowl of grains, veggies, and optional...fried egg. I had to get a box to take leftovers home (and they were good the next day, too). At dinner, there is often a line out the door (literally) -- aim for 6:00 to 6:30 PM if you can. I don't think they take reservations; you just sign your name on the sign-in sheet on a clipboard at the entrance. Allow some extra time to find street parking and walk back to the restaurant. It's worth the effort!More

Busy, busy place. We got there about 7pm and waited for a table for 1/2 hour. There is a sign-in sheet. You sign up when you enter and then one of the staff checks the sheet and availability of the tables. Lots of families and...lots of Koreans which is always a good sign. I had the beef stew -- it was very spicy and the portion was huge. Ended up taking half of it home. Everyone at my table enjoyed the adventure of Korean food, first time.More

My son recommended that I go here. Found it to be quite good and reasonable. First time in a rice bar and was quite happy and left full. The food fills you up and tastes great and prices are fine. Service was quite good here...as well. There are many types to tryMore
