Everytime I crave pasta and I'm in Alameda, i come here because the service is always outstanding and the food is consistently good. I love the outdoor patio in the summer, and I always enjoy their pizzas as well.

I am only giving it three stars because my pizza was soggy. I would have taken it home since I didn't finish it but it was too soggy to do so. My date said her salmon was an 8 out of 10. It appeared to be a popular family restaurant, lots of kids present. The atmosphere is very good, the... More
I found this restaurant very noisy and chaotic the service was terrible and we waited ages for service and when the food came it was bland and unattractive
Food is always fresh here. My kids love it. Good family friendly restaurant. Pizza is very good and so are the pastas. Wish they would bring back the bread and tomato dip they once gave all the tables. They give breadsticks now which are good too. Service is usually fast and always friendly.
This used to be one of my favorite places for pizza and a salad. Well, something's happened. Personal pizza with kalamata olives and mushrooms was bad. Pizza was wet and the sauce was bland. Mixed salad was an expensive little pile of mixed green lettuce from Safeway. It was advertised with roquefort cheese, but it had none. And where'd the... More
The pizza here is the best, we had the Carne Combo and I don't even like mushrooms! But this pizza was too good not eat. During our trip we ate here twice and the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo was even better! You'll love it, I did!
While visiting family in Alameda we went to Tomatina's for dinner. This place seems very popular but we didn't have to wait long for a table. The service was good and they have a lot of choices on the menu. I thought the meal was good but not great. I would still be willing to go back though and try... More
I had been to Tomatina several times and it was excellent. Most recently I went to the Union City location and was disappointed. Last weekend we went to the Alameda restaurant and I had the lasagna severed on a refrigerated cold plate with room temperature food. They no longer have the wonderful pre-dinner snacks that were so wonderful instead they... More
We've been to Tomatina several times over the years but until last week each time was for lunch at two of its locations (Alameda and San Rafael). This past visit, at the Alameda, location felt as if we went to a very different restaurant than previous visits. The menu changed to a more upscale selection, as did the prices. The... More
