Escaping the busy 14 Freeway we passed Sweetwater Bar & Grill in Aqua Dulce.
We stopped for an early dinner. It was not too crowded, so a table was quickly available.
Staff was welcoming and the restaurant interior looked nice and cozy.
I ordered a...12oz Tri-Tip with fries and beans on the side and my wife ordered a Tri-Tip Salad.
The food was awesome, my tri-tip was perfectly cooked as requested and the fries well baked.
Portions size is very good, I didn't had space left for dessert ;)
The restaurant has recently changed ownership based on the signs.
It's located close to Pacific Crest Trail so ideal for hikers but also for bikers if you want to escape the 14 freeway.
Or if you need to refuel after a hike/horsebackride at Vasquez Rocks.
The restaurant is located on the main street of scenic Aqua Dulce with plenty parking space.
You can even swing by on your horse.
On the main street they have space available to tie down your horse.
Besides dinner they also serve breakfast and lunch.
A full bar is available for some after dinner drinks.
When we are in the area, we for sure will visit Sweetwater Bar and Grill againMore
