This place is wonderful. I and my family come here from time to time for lunch after church on Sunday's. It's a little out of the way but well worth the drive. I usually have the large top eye steak and a trip to the salad bar and of course sweet tea (with lemon). The waitstaff is always friendly and attentive... More

The staff was really friendly. There are toys in the front for the kids to play with while you wait which is great for the kids! I'm not sure if we went on an off night but the meal really wasn't good. Our server was nice & tried. We ordered two sirloins both medium rare, two salad bars & two... More

Went there to eat with my husband & another couple. The food was delicious. I had the steak & my husband had the catfish platter. The salad bar is well stocked & has lot of choices. The prices is always right. Worth the 35 minute drive down the interstate form our house. Will be going back really soon. You should... More

My family and I have gone there over the last several year's but haven't gone in a while until recently this month we have gone two weekends straight. My wife and I enjoyed both visits. The first time I got their pork chops, sweet potato and salad my wife got their chicken fingers and salad and we shared their cheese... More

We've eaten at Good Ol Boys several times, always with great results. The most recent time was out of the ordinary: we were at the salad bar and heard another customer ask where their famous potato salad was. The waiter said they didn't have it out at the salad bar but you could ask the waiter to bring some to... More

We made the detour from the interstate for dinner hoping to find a good non-chain restaurant. I ordered the seafood platter. The catfish and shrimp were very good. The clams were just ok and the oysters were blah, tasted like they were from a can. My wife had the salmon which she was not blow away by. Just average. The... More

My family, friends, and I have been visiting Good 'Ol Boys restaurant for years now. It is still one of my favorite restaurants! It has a relaxed, down-home atmosphere, and the service is very satisfactory. While they are more well-known for their catfish, I usually go for the pork chops, which are tender and succulent. This restaurant is a must-try!

We have patronized Good 'Ole Boys for many years. The food is good and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is comfortable and suitable for families with no alcohol served. The setting is nice as pastures surround the restaurant so the views out the windows are pleasant. Owner's granddaughter and her husband who run GOB have had alot of work done... More

Nice place to eat non fussy, great tasting food. It's a little out from Auburn's main area but worth the drive. The decor is simple and plenty of parking. Very good steak, fish and salad bar. Save room for the cobbler its not huge but so tasty.

Fried food, fried EVERYTHING. If you are any type of a health nut, this is not the place for you. The atmosphere has a 1970's vibe going on with a kind of cleared out summer camp dining hall mood. Chuck wagon salad bar, but not cool decor at all- kind of creepy. Could our time have been better? Perhaps, but... More
