Enjoyed our trip to Davids Catfish House great food good service. Love the fried green tomatoes. Don't forget to try their over sized rocking chair out front. Be ready o wonderful southern hospitality. Whether you are with a large group or dinning alone you are treated like you are a priority by you server.

We arrived in Atmore around lunch time and found David's via the internet. The experience got off to a rocky start since our Ford navigation saystem had the wrong address, an old location before they were bought out by Walgreen's. Our waitress said this is a common complaint. The correct address is 1804 S. Main NOT what shows above. The... More

One of the best places to eat. Their catfish is outstanding. If you go, get the catfish fillet with grits and Cole slaw. You won't be sorry. Their coleslaw is always the best coleslaw I've ever eaten from a restaurant. Even if you are not into fried food they have grilled shrimp and fish as well as some very good... More

Everything was great!! The fish and shrimp was hot, golden, and delicious! The cole slaw is out of this world! The service was top notch! If I'm ever back in the area, I will definitely stop here!

This place was recommended by Sofia at the Fairfield Inn and suites Atmore. She described it as a great local place to have dinner and praised the Catfish and their famous slaw. It didn't disappoint

Looked for fresh fish restaurant on trip to Mobile. Found this off the beaten path in Atmore. Delightful restaurant. Wonderful fish and shrimp. Loved the slaw. The hush puppies were the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommend it for a dinner

We arrived a little before 5 on a Tuesday evening. We were seated immediately in the dining room which is decorated with interesting old items. We were not waited on immediately but when she came the service was good for the rest of the evening. My wife had the fried shrimp which was average but the sides of cheese grits... More

Had the hamburger and the grilled popcorn shrimp salad with tea. Service was quick and to order. Waitress was helpful and accurate in her description. Small town and not tons of options but was a nice meal and no complaints.

My husband loves catfish and friends recommended stopping here. It is a cute place, reminded us of a Cracker Barrel from the outside. The inside was done in wood and old fashioned rural decor. The walls were covered in corrugated metal sheets and there was a cool, old juke box in the corner. This restaurant is a small chain in... More

If you want good basic fried catfish this is the place. Service was friendly, catfish was fried crisp and golder.
