We stopped by with 4 other family members to get something light after eating way too much on turkey day. Redrocks seemed more like a night club than restaurant but then the food arrived. Everyone had individual pizzas of some kind (pepperoni ,cheese kalamata olives etc). I on the other hand had the lamb burger which was off the charts... More

The Redrocks is in the "Columbia Height" area of Washington D.C. It is situated at the intersection of 11th and Park Rd. The 11th street strip (4 blocks) is an up and coming restaurant area of the upper Northwest. It is known as a pizza place in a nice restaurant. There are two floor of tables and plenty of outside... It was good, but not something that I would write home about. The pizza is affordable, but the other dishes are pretty steep. The calzones are huge but mine had a big burnt area on the top. There was a good pound or two of cheese in the calzone which was just too much. Our waitress was nice, but we... More

I was not expecting such great pizza in a place not usually on the "must eat" pizza list for the District of Columbia. But the RedRocks Pizza in Columbia Heights is such a place. The made by hand pies have thin crusts with just the right amount of "char." There are the usual toppings, in generous proportions. We particularly enjoyed... More

I went with some friends from Columbia Heights who frequent this place. The bloodies are dangerously good and some in my party sucked down several. They have a good variation on the menu and I finished the Sammy wishing I ordered two it was so good. Can't wait to try it again.

I really enjoyed the pizza at this restaurant and thought it had a great atmosphere. There was a great variety of pizzas on offer and the Sauvignon Blanc wine was perfect. Generally good service. Takes quite a while for the pizzas to cook but worth it.

Popped in on a Saturday night, rather early actually at 6:15 pm, and there were only two tables left in the patio. I chose this is because my dog can stay outside in the patio. The food is not bad, the service is efficient, and they always bring water for my dog. The menu is nothing that I would call... More

Having spent the morning at a nearby hospital we needed a lunch spot. This place worked for our threesome. The pizza is good but not to die for. There is full bar and a cozy atmosphere. Prices are typically high for D.C.

They have some great pizza flavors and fresh ingredients, but they're on the expensive side for the size of pizza you get. On the weekends it is crowded, especially when the weather's nice and everyone's out in the back. It's nice to stop by for a drink and maybe pizza as an appetizer, but if you're looking to fill up...
