As this is away somewhat from nationals stadium and audi field, a good spot to visit for reduced crowds. We came in after a game at audi field for some drinks and light food. Great price on heineken drafts, very good chili bowl, Goose IPA's...and b russels sprouts. Excellent friendly service by Margarita and a nice end to a pleasant evening. They have outside seating although it was closing when we arrived at around 930PM on a saturday which seemed a little early.More
The dessert was good. - I could stop there but the meal was so bad I feel we were taken advantage of. Flat, dry chicken piccata- just skip that one all together - if you have ever had a precooked flat chicken breast from a...freezer then this is what you get here it seems. The sirloin had an odd flavor- the seasoning was just very strange. This is a classic example of a restaurant trying too hard with presentation and has lost their way with food quality. And the price to pay for less than mediocre food was outrageous.
Atmosphere was nice but I can’t say that about the server nor the other loud mouthed other employees. It was like a sorority house in restaurant form.
But the dessert was goodMore
Ate here with 4 other work friends. Waitress said they don't split checks, but she would take multiple charge cards (at least, we think that's what she said). But when we gave her our charge cards, it confused her, so she ended up giving us...each a separate check. We think she didn't want to do separate checks so she could put on the 20% tip for large groups! When she gave us each a check, the 20% tip was still included.
Food was okay. I had the salmon. Portion was a little small and I didn't care for the sweet sauce. But fish was cooked perfectly.More
Went for a business dinner. Sat outside on a beautiful night. We really enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and would recommend that dish as an appetizer. Most had the salmon and enjoyed it. I had the vegetable stir fry and it was excellent. A good spots...for vegans / vegetarians as well as those wanting meat.More
We stopped in for the Sunday brunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed the sangria, bloody mary, the margherita pizza and the huge Omelette. White pizza and chili were also very good. Very good service and a nice local place with outside seating weather permitting. Certainly on...our repeat list.More
14 family members had reservations for brunch the morning after a huge wedding. Table was ready and reserved when we arrived. Staff was inattentive. Several people waited much too long for drink order even though all orders were taken at the same time. Meals came...out in waves. Some of the first meals out were cold. Others waited much to long for theirs. Server actually asked one of our party to take his creamer down to another who had asked for more cream! Not at all the experience we had hoped for.More
Stopped in again for during brunch on Saturday before a Nats game. We've been here before for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed it but today just sat at bar for a Mimosa and draft heineken. Barkeep was friendly and attentive. Got a side of the breakfast...potatoes which were pretty good. They have a nice happy hour with reduced drink prices during the week. Nice outdoor area now that the weather is improving. Worth a visit if trying to avoid the insanity of some of the closer to the stadium bars. Great place to talk with friends and then walk over to the game.More
