Came here the other day because my boss suggested it and liked their food. I’m not use to buffets in DC but they only have roughly 4 meats, a couple veggies, and some other sauces. Not what I would expect for the price tag but...More

We had lunch buffet on Monday May 6. We arrived at 12noon and they were moderately busy. The buffet is small and really unimpressive. The Tandoori chicken was dry, chicken curry watery sauce, saag over cooked no paneer, Chana masala eh?, however chicken biryani, pakoras...More

Got a feeling the negative reviews are biased here. I've been here a few times now on business meetings and can't speak more highly of this place. They are pioneers of great food, atmosphere and social enterprise. More business should follow suit.

Had heard a lot about the philanthropic works of the owner of Sakina's during the longest government shutdown. Decided to pay our compliments. Great Pakistani food in the heart of Washington DC.

This place was relatively uncrowded compared to other restaurants, so we thought maybe it wasn’t great. But we were pleasantly surprised. Good food, good service. We went back twice during our visit.

One of the reasons I came to DC this week (I’m from Connecticut) is because I wanted to eat at this restaurant. I saw a video about Kazi’s commitment to helping the hungry and was so impressed that I needed to go support him. I’m...More
