Excellent service and food. The duck was amazing, as was the bread pudding! I would definitely return to enjoy the food and ambiance!

First time to Acadiana. My colleague had said it was his favorite place to take out of town guests...so had high expectations. Maybe it was because I was with a group and we had a pre-determined menu that maybe they cooked ahead but the food was just ok. Gumbo was the best, salad was over dressed and beef tenderloin was... I really loved this restaurant. We had a quick business lunch there and the food & service were excellent. The manager was lovely and checked on our table a few times during the meal and even provided the wireless password when I needed WIFI for a quick work need. The turtle soup was AWESOME! My vietnamese salad was a little... More

Food and service are outstanding. Our server Oscar was on his game. I highly recommend the gumbo, crab soup, fish and the pork 3 ways.

What a great surprise! Stumbled on this DC gem when visiting the city. Skeptical about Cajun cuisine in DC, I was impressed regarding the authenticity of the cuisine. Starting with the appetizers, I had the charbroiled oysters. Having been in New Orleans two weeks before, I had several opportunities to enjoy this unique approach. Without a question, these were the... More

We came in to DC for a short day tour, walked the mall, etc. and were referred to visit Acadiana. Parking was easy (bonus in DC) and the food and service were exceptional. Rebecca was fantastic as our server, my bottomless mimosa glass was never empty, and the Cajun inspired entrees were perfect. Prix fixe menu options were delightful. GM... More

I had a quick business trip in Washington DC and was grabbing a quick lunch before I left for the airport and Acadiana was on the way to the metro. I stopped in with my travel bag and had a quick lunch. It turned out to be fabulous and was a great send off note. The bartender and waitress were... More

My wife and I had dinner at Acadiana during a 3-night visit to DC. Although Acadiana isn't quite as highly-rated as our other 2 dinner choices, our experience at Acadiana was by far the best of the 3. We made OpenTable reservations for a Monday night at 7:30, and were seated immediately. The restaurant is large and spacious, but quiet,... More

Authentic cajun cuisine served up on New York Avenue in Washington DC... All your Newlines favorites are served here. I decided to go with the gumbo (with andouille sausage, of course) and a plate of crawfish étouffée. This was more than enough food for me, and I didn't have room for any of the desserts, even though the beignets and... More

Really enjoyed my Crispy Wild Blue Catfish, with fettuccine, crawfish monica, and marinara sauce. Appreciated the friendly service.
