Part of the Passion Food Hospitality Group this restaurant is located a block from the Convention Center in the district. It's billed as a Louisiana Fish House under the direction of Executive Chef Brant Teskey. We sat in the bar area (which is very well stocked) and ordered several small dishes to share. The char grilled oysters reminded me of... More

We had reservations for 3 on a Monday evening at 8 pm. Across the three meals, two were great, one of okay. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. It was easy to converse with others at the table.

Cold rainy night before a Wizard's game and was grateful to arrive at Acadiana. Generous seating in old style high ceiling room. Asked for a booth and was soon toasty warm and greeted by Wendy our server. My husband had the trio of three soups, a bit tough to choose but the turtle soup won the race. I had the... More

In town at the convention center and stopped here for dinner. The food was amazing. I had the gumbo - the first time I was able to find fresh crawfish outside of New Orleans! I had a great wine with dinner (they have an extensive list) and a nice rye whiskey as dessert. The complimentary biscuits with a pepper jelly... More

Took a group here on a business trip. Service was excellent and attentive. Prices are moderate for D.C. And everyone loved their food. 2nd visit to this place and impressed again.

We love Cajun food and were glad to find out that our friends had made reservations for us here on New Year's Eve. We were part of the early crowd, arriving at 6:00 PM. The menu was prix fix, each coming with a cup of gumbo and with choice of appetizer, main and dessert. I choose the duck as my... More

Acadiana is a contemporary Louisiana fish house located in New York Ave. This is the only restaurant in DC serving Louisiana cuisine; contemporary and very smart atmosphere, staff extremely friendly and attentive to customers requests and needs. Great food quality vs prices and also nice way of presenting the dishes. Good wine list. This place is worth a visit, it`s... More
