Great food & service - again! Gulf Oysters were delish. The Roast Duck was THE star of the show, but everyone really enjoyed the other items - snapper, shrimp & soft shell crab. The catfish was a bit under-seasoned, which was corrected at the table. We would definitely come back.

I have been coming to this restaurant every time I am in DC for a meeting or conference on that side of town, as I can walk one block or so to it. Last night, I had the shrimp and grits, which were delicious. I always love the biscuits and jelly preserves. My wait staff was great. The male maitre... More

I avoid cajun restaurants outside of Louisiana because of multiple disappoints, but I was invited to dinner at Acadiana by some business associates- who were paying. I started with the crawfish etouffee which had more hot spice than flavor or crawfish. My dinner was a smoked pork chop which was good- not really cajun, but tasty. The service was so... More

Interesting high end creole style menu and great cocktail choices, but they could be more flexible with substitutions

I dined here recently with several colleagues while attending a meeting at the Convention Center, right down the street. We didn't have a reservation, but they quickly arranged a table for us. It's easy to make a meal of several appetizers, and this was plenty for us. Food was creative and tasty, and our server was very friendly. We had... More

My husband and I ate here after after spending a rainy day exploring the museums. Rather than return to our hotel before dinner, we snagged a reservation thru Open Table and stopped here first. So glad we did! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we were promptly seated in a cozy booth by the window. Even though the restaurant... More

My wife and I were in town for a conference and the Acadiana was close to our hotel. We walked by the first day we were there and I found myself intrigued by the menu. It took a little convincing as my wife isn't into "spicy" but I got her to try it out on our last night there. From... More

My husband and I ate here for dinner. He had oysters on the half shell and he stated they were large and very good. His entree was the seafood gumbo and I had the crab cakes. The seafood gumbo was presented well and my husband enjoyed. The crab cakes were very good, lots of lump crab meat and no filler.... More

Went to a reception one night recently. Food was outstanding mini shrimp Po Boys were out of this world. Other food was good and the beer was cold. Not much of a selection on tap. Will eat dinner here soon.

My husband rarely enjoys fish, which he is under medical orders to eat more often. He loved the tuna at Acadiana; I had the snapper which was delicious. Excellent service; fine ambiance. On a Friday evening at 8, the restaurant was pleasantly full but not overcrowded.
