We arrived here by accidentally. It was raining; it was close. We were with a former exchange student now a lawyer and wanted a quiet place to talk. We felt a little under-dressed when we walked into the place but staff made the s quickly...More

Brasserie Beck. For being in downtown DC (a place where three star sit down restaurants reign), it's worthy of a four star rating. It's close to the Convention Center. Here's what's to love: 1) Space: It's not fine dining, but the design of the restaurant...More

My wife and I arrived for happy hour and then moved outdoors to the sidewalk dining area for dinner. Happy hour included discounted drinks and oysters, as well as other seafood offerings. Happy hour pricing is limited to the bar area. BB offers mussels prepared...More

Brasserie Beck offers the typical menu for this sort of French/Belgian food. My wife and I both enjoyed our dinners. The decor is pleasant and the room is not loud. So it is easy to hear each other speak. Service was prompt and efficient.

The raclette fondue is to die for! I don't eat oysters but my husband said they were fantastic. Service is great and beautiful restaurant.

A great experience. A very comfortable restaurant that is well designed and has food. Everything the four of us had to eat was topnotch. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and the large selection of beer, and very accommodating as well. The chef...More

Had the poached asparagus as a starter, yummy with a poached egg. Thought it would be heavy, but it was just right. Then the scallops, very sweet and cooked perfectly. Finished off with creme brulee with fresh fruit, not a drop left over. Moderately priced...More

Friendly. Upscale but not haughty. Fabulous food. Not difficult to get a reservation and a very nice outdoor area if it's not too hot or cold outside.

Nice dinner at this brasserie. On the menu great Belgium and Belgium.style beers. Also a few nice typical Belgium items on the menu, others were typical and traditional French classics (cocq au vin, coquille st jacques). Great and knowledgeable staff. A little bit pricy....but worthwhile....More

Sorry just saw your question as I'm overseas in France. Other folks gave appropriate answers as we rely on Google maps and apple map app even when we visit DC and we're sort of local being from northern Virgimia.
