Stopped in for the first time to check this out, what a gem. Indoor and outdoor seating, with very nice semi-industrial deco scheme. I only had the tempura onion rings and a stout, both were excellent. It wasn't very crowded mid-afternoon, but the sound level...More

Finest is a neighborhood gem in Brookland. The southern-influenced food is consistently great, prices are fair, and the servers are friendly. It’s also pretty child friendly, making it an easy choice for brunch or an early dinner with little ones.

Best place we’ve found in Brookland for a nice meal. Try the chicken sandwich (fried is very good). The prime rib is excellent. Good service and nice atmosphere.

I had the Salmon BLT for dinner. The food was not fishy at all. A real healthy choice for dinner. The taste was very good. I would recommend. We also shared Brussels Sprout chips for appetizer. Not sure what to expect, was thinking more like...More

I love the blueberry waffles. Usually go for brunch but it is very busy and there is a waiting period if you don't get there early. Also the deviled eggs are very good. Had them for the first time on Sunday and will definitely get...More

My wife and I had a delicious lunch here on a recent DC visit. Our Pit Beef "sanitches" were a savory delight! The hand cut fries were to die for. Add to this the awesome tempora onion rings with "tiger sauce" and an incredible lunch...More

I grew up in the Brookland neighborhood. Brookland's finest restaurant used to be a candy store back in the day. It's about 2 blocks from my mom's house and I decided to meet a friend there for lunch recently. I always ride past and saw...More

This neighborhood kitchen and bar serves delicious lunch items. Everyone enjoyed d their entrees; beet salad, grilled salmon sandwich and turkey panini. The chips were fresh and served with the perfect dip

This restaurant is very small. I am afraid it would not be ideal for a group as large as yours. Sorry, because the food was fabulous!
