My partner and I were visiting Washington and were looking for good restaurant near to our accommodation thus we came across Rasika, being an authentic Indian Restaurant we were a little surprised to find it was in fact a fine dining eatery and not the type of "Curry House" we were used to in the UK. The Maitre De was... More

If you can get a seat or a reservation GO! Excellent food and hip atmosphere, but it doesn't come cheap. You can also go to Rasika West End or the Bombay Club for good Indian; both (and more!) are run by the same group.

Having been wowed at Rasika before, I went again with high hopes. The lamb dish was surprisingly bland. The service was just OK. I will definitely go again in the future to see if I can recapture my original very positive experience. Every restaurant has an off night.

The atmosphere is chic and trendy, upscale, with smart style. The food is equally amazing. The chicken biryani and mango lassi are a must!

Love Rasika. I've been to their east end location a number of times and have never been disappointed. Attentive but not too pushy service. Wide ranging menu with a range of Indian spice levels. Great execution. What's not to like?

Visited Rasika with my wife and had an amazing experience. I'm a big fan of Indian food, I have been to many different places and have to admit that Rasika so far is the best. Service was very good, the servers were helpful and knew what they were doing. Highly recommend you try Rasika, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, nice wine list. My favorites are the palak chat (crispy spinach) and the lobster dish (the cream sauce is to die for!).

Many folks before me have raved about Rasika, with good reason. The food is superb, as is the service. My wife and I have been several times and each time has been better than the last. The more you go, the more you can explore.

I have been to Rasika many times. The food is consistently excellent. Unique flavors, beautifully prepared. Have never been disappointed. It's not easy to get a reservation, so plan ahead. I feel that the wait staff used to be better in the past. They used to be very helpful in not only making suggestions, but also in advising you when... More
