We went here due to a recommendation. The restaurant is quite good, the taste of the food was excellent and also the service was very good. Price/quality ratio was ok. The place appears a little bit formal, so that we felt in T-Shirt and Jeans a little bit underdressed. We have eaten in better Indian restaurants, but overall, we can... More

I ate dinner at this restaurant twice over a business trip. I have no idea why this hotel is rated so high. Yes the food is average to 'tastes good on some dishes' but for the rating, I was expecting something amazing. Their gulab jamun and sheekh kebabs are good. However their Nali Gosht was so salty, I couldn't eat... More

From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated superbly. To start with, our reservation was actually for the next week, but they kindly and without skipping a beat worked us in. Our waiter, Ahmed was helpful, friendly and personable. He felt like a new friend and recommended dishes and wines to pair with our food. Without our... More

My daughter made special reservations (hard to come by) to take my husband and I to dinner. We had a glorious time. Our waiter was fantastic. Knowledgeable and helpful. We relied on him to pick appetizers and meal choices. We were not disappointed. The food is Indian, but with a very light touch and very imaginative. We enjoyed every bit.... More

Though quite expensive, this is undoubtedly the best Indian restaurant in the US. My PhD advisor took me here in 2011 for dinner. Since then, I have visited this place multiple times. The restaurant lives up to its reputation.

Honestly I never imagined having Indian food for brunch before. My son has been praising Rasika as he had dinner there a few times. We tried it last weekend and was I surprised to see the incredible brunch menu that can accommodate any kind of diet. Especially the crunchy spinach salad was to die for. I highly recommend this place.... More

But the cat is out of the bad. Washington Post and a million food bloggers have scooped me. This place is truly excellent in all forms - food, service, drinks. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Getting more difficult to get a reservation as it's getting a lot of hot press right now. But they truly deserve every five star... More

Did not have reservations but was given a spot in the lounge. Nice but a tad on the cool side. The Menu? So many great items - Palak Chaat Crispy baby spinach / sweet yogurt tamarind / date chutney... was so unique. Chicken Tikka Masala is outstanding. Bhindi Amchoor Sliced okra / dry mango powder is a gotta try. Enjoyed... More

This place is so clearly the best Indian food in DC. Indian food is my favorite, so i give many Indian places a try, but none seem to come close. It can be a little pricey, especially if you drink, but it falls in the middle of DC restaurant prices. It's upscale, so don't come expecting a take out place.... More

We love Indian food so visited Rasika based on the reviews. If anything I don't think they gave them enough credit. I have eaten Indian all over the world and this was among if not the best I've had. We struggled to choose and went with tandoori salmon. Amazing! The service was also exceptional. He recommended an appetizer that was... More
