This is a very good restaurant. Really good food, staff and decor. Not the tastiest Indian food I have ever had though. They play it a bit safe with the spices. But quality food non the less. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Some of the best Indian food I have had outside of my BFF's mom's kitchen. Make a reservation or prepare for a long wait. Bar looks great too, and you can eat at the bar. Service, excellent! Oh and the crispy spinach is remarkable.

Rasika serves high-end Indian food that is well worth the wait and expense. Always make sure to get reservations since they're booked well in advanced. I enjoy their Sev Batata Puri (appetizer) and Chicken Tikka Masala. The locations (one in Penn Quarter/Chinatown and one in West End) are distinct and both have their own ambiance. Service is also outstanding -... More

Rasika is a fantastic restaurant. We are never disappointed. Service is very good & the food excellent. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations. palak Chaat is out of this world. It's easy to see why Our President & First Lady visit for "date night".

We visited here based upon the recommendation of several close friends as THE place to eat while in DC. And it did not disappoint. We started with the Palak Chaat, and we were skeptical based on the description ... but it was awesome. Flash fried spinach with sweet yogurt and spices. We got the Duck Vindaloo and the Black Cod.... More

The food is good, excellent service. I did order table on line before my trip, but when we got there the did not find my reservation they got out of there way to get me and my friends a table. I'm so thankful for that. 😊

If I had to choose a restaurant from those we visited in DC during our trip, I wouldn't choose Rasika. I have been in much better Hindi restaurants. I just think is a nice place, nice setting and excellent service but just average expensive food. Maybe because I have been in much better places, Hindi restaurants... You decide... I don't... More

This place really serves the best Indian food! The curries have a perfect balance of all the ingredients which most Indian restaurant lack. They also serve some street food like vada Pav and chaat. Loved the halibut Goan curry. I cannot forget the awesome taste of Kashmiri chillies in the curry. The service was very good. Overall a very nice experience!

The hallmark of an upscale restaurant is that they treat you like a VIP from the moment you come in, and do their best to provide a whole pleasant meal experience. We ordered for our lunch the chef's tasting menu, which is a multi-course choice somewhat large for lunch, and just a starter for my wife, with the idea to... More

Rasika was perfect all the way through. We were taken precisely at the time of our reservation and seated at table one. The decor was upscale modern unlike any other Indian restaurant. Our waiter was fantastic and made some great menu recommendations even though I know Indian food pretty well. The fried spinach and cod were favorites. I would return... More
