I travel to DC for work once or twice a year, and I always make a trip to Rasika. The restaurant environment is lovely--sophisticated, not "typical" Indian restaurant decor. The menu has so much amazing variety. I typically sit in the bar area if I'm...More

I've been meaning to try this restaurant for some time as its reputation of the capital's premier curry house was too enticing, The venue has a very nice vibe and is, as to expected, extremely busy -- in fact, we could only get seating in...More

We are semi regulars at both Rasika and their equally excellent Rasika West End. This time we were a party of six, including three family members who were new to the restaurant. As we always do, we ordered a zillion dishes of all sorts and,...More

Place is really pretty inside. Service was fairly attentive. The food was good but not much better than other places we've been. Wine was really lovely at a decent price. It was the best part of the meal as was the popular flash fried spinach...More

I love Indian food, but this lunch was so beyond Indian. Our lunch was interesting and some of the most amazing flavor blends I have ever experienced. The Palak Chaat was to die for and I could eat it endlessly. I ordered the Red Snapper...More

We had a lamb and chicken curry. Both quite bland and the meat was tough. Don't mind paying high $ for a good meal, but this didn't meet the standard. Overrated in my view.

Rasika is, hands down, the best Indian food in DC. Both locations in the city are equally delicious.

This upscale restaurant serves some of the very finest Indian cuisine this diner has ever had the pleasure to consume. Truly a life changing culinary experiance - Rasika delivers on every front.
