My group found Rasika when we were looking for a restaurant that would please everyone. We called the restaurant to see if we could reserve and were told that the restaurant reservation book was full for the evening but that we could come to the restaurant to wait for an open table. We were told 45 minutes to an hour... More

Rasika is one of Washington’s most notable Indian restaurants with two locations in town. We went to the Penn Quarter restaurant since they had an early - 5:30 PM – reservation that we snapped up. We’ve been anxious to try the place since Rasika’s reputation is well known for top quality Indian menu offerings items done in a creative fashion... More

Enjoyed every last bite!! Must try the crispy spinach & crispy biscuits. Our waiter was fantastic & very attentive. He pointed out selections on the menu & each were delicious. Didn't think I had room for anither bite, but found room for dessert & was glad I did! We had 2 teenagers with us who had never eaten Indian food.... More

So I found myself in DC, solo, and ran into some friends on a Friday night while looking for a place to grab dinner. I asked their recommendation and Rasika was one of about five or six restaurants they named. Mind you, it was almost 7pm on a Friday, so their suggestion was quickly followed up with a "but you'll... This was our fourth time at Rasika (both locations). Always had a fantastic meal. Definitely need reservations. Our two favorite dishes are the signature palak chaat (fried spinach) and tawa baigan (eggplant and potato). Had an incredibly tasty mixed drink of dhaniya cooler cocktail which contains gin, port and cucumber. While the lamb dish we had, ananas gosht, was quite... More

I had reservations and the restaurant was half empty and yet they made me wait for 15 minutes to prepare a table. The dover sole was amazing and the black pepper crab was excellent and the cauliflower was great but that was it. All the main course items were just mediocre. I ordered three different naans but all were the... More

I love good Indian food and went here because of other reviews that I had read. I was so pleased I did! The staff was helpful and very knowledgable about the dishes. They made great suggestions based on flavors, meats and veggies that I like. They really want you to have a good experience. Everything was terrific and I look... More

Best Indian food in the DMV. Service is outstanding. Ask your server for suggestions if you're unsure about what to order. You will not be disappointed.

This place is supposed to be one of the best Indian restaurants in DC. The restaurant is attractive and the service is good but the food is average.
