I can say Rasika is one of the best Indian restaurant in the whole country. Each dishes is a master piece. So delicious masterful Vikram Sunderam, never fails to surprise you with his tastiest dishes. His deserts are the most delightful. Wine selection is unbeatable. Service is of course flawless. You definitely need to make reservation specially if you're dining... More

I have lived on and off in The DC area for 15 years, and the original Rasika has long been one of my favorite restaurant. There are hipper places, more luxurious places, newer places and cheaper/more expensive places, but for me, Rasika strikes the perfect balance of warm ambiance, interesting Indian fusion food, and price. If you like The bold... More

We love Indian food, saw Rasika’s high ratings and decided to celebrate New Year’s Eve there. Unfortunately we didn’t reserve a table which admittedly was silly. We did pass by the restaurant in the hope of securing a table shortly before lunchtime on the last day of 2016, but the sullen employee who entered the establishment wouldn’t help and told... More

I have had Indian food in god knows how many restaurants across the world and of course also in most of good hotels in India. Till now my top favourites were ITC hotels with their amazing Indian food. Well, Rasika quickly jumped to share this place. It is simply outstanding food, decor, ambience and service! There weren't many Indians in... More

Loved everything about the place: from the friendly greeting, the service, exquisite food, the deco, and the background music playing Mark Farina mushroom jazz. Try these if you're a vegetarian or pescetarian: Palak Chaat (flash fried spinach salad) and the Mango shrimps as starters Paneer Masala (cottage cheese with butter sauce) Dhal Makhani (lentil based - to die for!) and... We enjoyed Rasika this evening and can't wait to go back. Their twists on Indian states, as well as their unique items make the trip down town worth the effort. The spinach appetizer and lobster were amazing.

the food was really good. and the staff attentive and polite. They made sure we knew which dish was spicy and which was not. glasses were filled when they got empty :) with the poison of our choice... the decor is of course impeccable and given the franchise we know exactly what we will get everytime.

We were very pleased with this restaurant. It's Indian-fusion which means you'll find some dishes you won't see on a mainstream Indian menu. Our waiter did an excellent job explaining them to us. The spices were fantastic - strong enough to have an excellent flavor but not too overpowering. Ambiance is nice-casual to dressy. Reservations are recommended. It's a bit... More
