Clyde's is a beautiful restaurant! Situated blocks from the Newseum, we discovered this place on a recommendation from the their staff. We arrived early enough in the day(4:00pm) to take advantage of the lunch menu and still have plenty of food. Our table had the meatloaf, butternut squash ravioli and a cheese burger. All of the menu choices were delicious.... More

We went here because it was close to our hotel. It's a large place with a large menu and children's menu which includes dessert. The food was ok in my opinion nothing that blew me away but was fine for what we needed. Our server was polite and the food came in a very efficient quick manner.

First time at this site...great location only 1 block from Gallery Place metro train station, so even I couldn't get lost. Business brunch event. All you can eat brunch included a fantastic lineup with a spectacular french toast. Food and service rated 5 stars. Our event was held in the Piedmonth room..great setup...lots of other folks came into the restaurant... More

My husband and I were in D.C. to watch the Washington Capitals take on the Philadelphia Flyers on a Sunday afternoon. Normally before any Caps game we go to Vapiano's for some alfredo, but on Sunday's they don't open until 12:00 p.m. and the game started at 1:00, so we wanted to find someplace that was open where we could... A friend and I decided to come here for a quick dinner after work. The wings and fries were really good, as well as his rueben. I was a little disappointed that my sandwich didn't come out the way that I wanted it to. I actually had to send it back, and wasn't in the mood for anything else. Overall,... More

We had brunch in Clyde's before we went to a Redskins game. We sat in the front downstairs bar and it was great. We had the omelette and fried chicken with biscuits and gravy and they were superb. There are a good number of TV's to watch sports on and the bar has a really nice feel. The décor and... More

Wonderful Atmosphere and staff. They have every price range on their menu. One of the best "sports bars" I've ever seen. Excellent.

Pluses: atmospheric; interesting and eclectic decor; fabulous, bustling bars downstairs (which can get loud when games are on); high ceilings and airy room upstairs with intimate nooks and crannies and a very sympathetic if not altogether knowledgeable waiter. Minuses: none of the oysters were local (why, when they are so good?!) and the Maryland crab soup was very salty, thin... More

My family ate at Clyde's in Georgetown during a recent visit to Washington. On our last night we were looking for a place to eat near the International Spy Museum. We were happy with the other Clyde's, so this was a good choice. The food and service were very good. I would recommend making a reservation if possible.

Our second time having new years eve dinner here with friends. We were seated without reservations almost immediately. A great atmosphere with largely polite fun loving professionals. Stayed through midnight and new years hours from 2030 to about 0200. our waitress, although clearly exhausted from a long weekend was still serving us at 0130. Good cuisine, wine and atmosphere.
