Great restaurant in China Town, we walked here from our hotel the first night in DC. It is next to the Verizon center. We started with a dozen oysters two types they were outstanding and we are from Florida. We had Lobster Sheppard pie it was wonderful lots of lobster and reasonably priced. Our server recommended a nice wine to... More

Stopped in for a drink after work and wanted a little something to eat. I chose the mussels and I was so happy I did! The bartender was friendly, anticipated our needs, and was very attentive without interrupting the conversation. Great Happy Hour prices on beer, wine, and special cocktails. Will definitely return.

We met here as a group of 20 and they had a fixe prix menu with 5 choices. I ordered the brick chicken and it was really good, but hardly worth $44 (included 20% tip). It was a nice restaurant with a bar both up and downstairs. Their regular menu seemed much more reasonable, I would not do a group... More

A restaurant like Clyde's is a nice find in a high priced location like Washington, DC. The staff is friendly and professional and the atmosphere and ambiance is outstanding. Lots of dark paneling and beams with numerous and interesting sports themed paintings throughout the resturant. Our waitress was good. The grilled atlantic salmon that both my wife and I had... A family of four can be difficult to please but Clyde's is an excellent option when everyone wants something different. Nice decor and a bustling atmosphere without being overbearing sets the scene. The waiting staff and friendly and efficient and just attentive enough without intruding. The food we ordered was all interestingly designed, well prepared, nicely presented and in fair-sized... Interior is warm and cozy and the staff well trained and efficient. I recommend sticking to the burgers and bar food as they do that consistently well. Plan on a few minute waut on weekends... More

The ambiance was gorgeous, the service and food was up to par with the ambiance, the only imbalance was the price. It was a bargain for what we received in return. The Hangar steak is good, but our lobster shephards pie stuffed with large lobster chunks was a treat at just $16... I feel like we cheated them... If you... More

A friend and I ordered Cheeseburger. Well served and cooked. Good taste and size. I recommend! The beer wasn't so cold as I expected, but we enjoyed our Guinness just the same.
