A little theater combined with great food this is a must. Great salad you build yourself with outrageous meats carved into small pieces at your table. Red sign up when you need a intermission green sign up when you are ready to feast. Sangria is memorable a nice selection of half bottles on the wine list. You should not miss... More

Prepare to enter a bedlam. Was taken aback by the large place and how busy it was. Once settled with a caparinha we attacked the all you can eat delicious salad bar with delicious wide varieties from papaya, mango, cesar salad, beans. Just amazing. Then we turned our mats over and were attacked by men bearing meat. Service from every... More

Excellent Salad buffet followed by endless meats served to you at your table by different waiters each carring a different meat grilled to perfection. ...restaurant not recommended for non-meat lovers!!!

I first visited Fogo de Chao in New Orleans and it was great. However, the DC location left a lot to be desired. The bacon wasn't nearly as good and the market bar appeared to be lacking in selections. The meat all tasted the same, as if there was no seasoning. Overall, I spent about $150 for two people (including... More

Great place for introduction to a Brazil - American steakhouse. Large crowd and many choices on the skewer, chicken, lamb, beef, pork, sausage plus a great salad table. Wonderful and attentive service Also a welcoming bar to hang at while waiting for the table. Only downside is the price if not changing to expense account , but I guess this... More

This place is the best you can do. Ten bucks cheaper than its New York City branch. Key lime is the best after a heavy meal of meat.

We were researching places to eat when planning a trip to Washington. We noticed that the city was having Restaurant Week and Fogo was on the list. It was a no brainer to make reservations for dinner to celebrate our last night in the city. Unfortunately we could only get 7:30 at 4 days in advance. We actually arrived at... More

This was my first time at this style restaurant .. and what an expierence it was. I was amazed at the service, the salad bar was out of this world.. just wish that things on it were labeled so you could know what you were trying.. only because some people are allergic.. anyways the meats were super awesome .. cut... I ate dinner at Fogo de Chao during restaruant week, which is not necessarily a representative experience. I was very impressed with the range of options on the salad bar and enjoyed the opportunity to taste a variety of very flavorful meats, carved at my table. The noise level was very high, though – too loud for me!

Any fogo de chao is good. You're paying a lot for the service and selection. But this is a nation wide chain restaurant so it loses a bit on atmosphere.
