This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it didn't disappoint. A huge salad bar followed by endless rounds of beautifully prepared beef, pork, lamb and chicken. For the centre of DC at Christmas the cost was reasonable at about $90 per person. There was an excellent wine list and the staff were friendly informative and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.

I decided to spend Christmas Eve with friends at Fogo de Chao in DC. I was excited to show the Brazilian way to eat steak and the high quality of food and service provided at this famous restaurant to my American friends. They were excited with the idea. What a disappointment !!!!!! The salad bar was poor. Worse than most... More

Holy Cow! This place has now become a Christmas Eve place to go. We went and was seated at 4:30. We didn't leave until almost 7pm. As soon as the green card was flipped over; the meat became! The meat was tender, juicy and never ending! The waiter was so friendly and took endless pictures of us . My boyfriends... More

The primary goal of the place is the jack up the cost of the meal as much as possible. Advertised as buffet but any seafood, dessert, and soda refills are extra. Even the most basic restaurants don't charge for refills on soda! And the first thing the waiter dies is try to get you to purchase an appetizer at a... More

Go here hungry. It is on pricy side, but the steak was all seasoned perfectly! All meat we tried was great. The salad bar was delicious as well. Service was terrific... Food just keeps coming!

Food was really good so was the service. Nice, trendy churrasqueria. Although pricy, it is worth for the money. Highly recommended !

Had high expectations based on reviews. Was sorely disappointed! Limited variety of over-seasoned and overcooked Meats. Dessert was amazing though.

Always wanted to check out a Foge de Chao, so decided to do so on a family vacation to D.C. In sum: salad bar was just ok, not bad, not great, just ok. The service left a lot to be desired... slow in removing plates, meat runners skipped us a lot even though we had our green coasters up, and... More

I've been to Fogo de Chao in other cities, and it is always consistently wonderful. Their salad bars are by far the best offered, and the meat is spectacular. Their training of employees is amazing, because it is always spot on. I know that others will feel that the price might be an issue, but honestly, I don't think you'll... More
