Great selection of salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Quick service and a fair price. Nice garden setting and plenty of shaded seating.

My husband and I stopped for an afternoon snack at the picturesque Pavilion Cafe. In the past I've had their salads which were great. This time we split a slice of cake and each had a rather strong sangria. Perfect!

This is a better place to eat than the Smithsonian cafes which will sell you garbage for more money. Here you bet better food at a more reasonable price.

This is a nice alternative to some of the other tourist food options. They have a nice menu with good options for kids of fresh food. The service was pretty quick.

After several hours of sightseeing this is a little oasis, just off one of the main roads, but feeling peaceful. The cafe had a good selection of salads and cooked food. We both went for salads and found a seat in the shade outside. Service was prompt and friendly. Only strange thing was that the wine was served in plastic... More

Came here after visiting National Art Gallery. In need of a rest and bite of lunch. Very busy but moved fairly quickly. We shared a Tuna Salad sandwich which came with a nice generous mixed greens salad as well as a Strawberry Tart. Food was good. You go through a queue where menus are posted as well as cold cases... The cafe provides a great break from touring and the setting is spectular especially for moms who have been forbidden from taking the kids to "art" museums. The menu has a nice set of salad and sandwhich options including kid friendly items for the younger set. Prices are tourist level but not crazy expensive and the service and table turnover... More

When walking the mall and you are hungry and tired, this cafe does the trick. The food is pretty good and I would say good value considering it is right in the middle of everything. The prices and the food were much better than I expected. There was plenty of seating to sit and rest your feet for awhile. It's... More

It's the only cafe nearby (except the museums restaurants that are expensive). You can relax here after a walking day wandering from one museum to the other.
