Favorite Smithsonian area restaurant. Food and staff were excellent and in such a beautiful area. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Came in here on a day when it was 100F in DC. Cool, calm surroundings, nice food options, prices kind of art galleryish but not excessive. Lovely location in the sculpture garden and a good option for brunch, lunch or a snack.

We stopped by here as a convenient restaurant between the National Archives and the Mall. Their Sunday brunch was quite good! I had a breakfast croissant while the other members of my group had sandwiches. Each meal had a side of fruit or salad. The portions were big and the food fresh. While not cheap (a hot dog cost $8)... More

While walking to all of the sites, I enjoyed a light lunch at The Pavilion Cafe at the Sculpture Garden. Very good chicken salad sandwich, with a glass of dry rose wine. Inexpensive and picturesque.

After a busy morning visiting the National Gallery this cafe provided a nice spot to rest and have lunch. Fresh salads and sandwiches were reasonably priced and the desserts looked good too. Iced coffee was very refreshing.

We stopped here as we were walking through the sculpture garden. I had a Mediterranean salad and my daughter had a pizza. I thought the selection of desserts was amazing. Key Lime tarts, Napoleons, eclairs, croissants flavored and plain and various other treats. They had a nice selection of cold and hot sandwiches, grilled cheese for the kids, salads and... More

This cafe was a good choice. Even though it was busy, it was clean, food was good, staff friendly. Lemon Tarragon Chicken Sandwich was great. Horseradish Roast Beef, Montreal Beef Sandwich, Mediterranean Salad were all good. Family friendly, comfortable restaurant with great scenery.

Great respite from the heat whole walking around the Smithsonian and the Capital Mall. Clean food and fresh fruit. Expect long lines because of the popularity.

Great selection of salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Quick service and a fair price. Nice garden setting and plenty of shaded seating.
