Great place to grab a drink and a quick bite to eat. The bartenders were fast with the drinks with generous pours. Would definitely eat here on my next trip.

Been here before - but only for drinks. Stopped in for late night eats this week. My friend is a "regular" - so that was a unique experience. Staff is super friendly, albeit the back-of-the-house (i.e. - kitchen) seemed to be a bit off. Definitely try their "Bacon-wrapped Tater Tots" -- holy crap. These are good. Ordered the burger -... Took a couple days but found this place on a local recommendation. Stopped in mid-afternoon following a full morning of touring for a couple Dewars and a light lunch before a long evening of obligations. This is not a dive but an old school local bar with low lighting, a seasoned bartender, and plenty of real character. The drinks were... More

I love little neighborhood "hole in the wall" cute places like this. There is a varied menu - i ate here twice and had the soft tacos with guacamole one time and a burger the other. Both were yummy and everything was reasonably priced. The DJ was spinning some off the hook music in the evening! I definitely recommend this... More

I came in for lunch over Labor Day weekend. There was a small outdoor area, but it was too hot for me to take advantage of it. I sat downstairs at the bar and had beer and food and talked football with the bartenders and other customers. It was a good time and I felt immediately at home.

Some reviews consider this place a dove bar. It's old school but not a dive bar. The food is great, priced reasonably, the beer is cold and drinks hand crafted but not frufru. The patrons are largely locals and easy to strike up a conversation. I'll be visiting again on my next DC trip.

This is a downtown fixture that has a well-deserved reputation as a good lunch place and a place for after work. The lunch specials are excellent. And very fair prices.

Excellent burgers that happened to be half off tonight. Jalapeño burger wasn't overly hot, which is great. Cooked perfectly and beer w chilled glasses hit the spot. Eddie the bartender is a hoot, gave out just the right amount of crap in a really funny way. Awesome surprise of a joint, thanks to the reviews on Trip Advisor.

The atmosphere is very comfortable and the nachos were excellent. The buffalo chicken wrap was great. The service very good and kept my glass full of water. A very nice place to relax after walking the monuments

Thank Walldo
