3 flavors for almost $10. "Flavors" is not quite the right word: the consistency was that of chewing gum, and it tasted more like artificial flavoring that natural ingredients. Never again.
What an amazing assortment of gelato and sorbet. They let you sample their wide range of flavors. I had white nectarine and cantaloupe. It was a perfect texture and tasted great. It was a little pricey but still worth it.
This morning began with an apple scone fresh out of the oven from this charming cafe. One of the best scones I've ever had. So good! The friendly, accommodating staff and attractive setting round out this tasty and welcoming neighborhood spot. Highly recommended.
Small place with a few indoor seats. Amazing flavors! So rich. Recommended to get the small and choose two different flavors. Street parking limited. Close to the metro.
The man scooping ice cream did not take any hygienic measures. He was not wearing gloves and was full on touching the ice cream with his bare hands.
Great flavours and reasonably priced. Had the black tea and hibiscus sorbet which were both delicious. Staff were friendly and service was relatively quick.
9 year old foodie says: Best gelato I’ve ever had and had a lot of ice cream, sorbet & gelato! The workers there were very nice and let us try as many flavors as we wanted. 9 year old foodie’s mom says: Best gelato outside...of Italy!!More
We got two pints of ice cream: hazelnut and milk chocolate. Both were extremely creamy which was great. Hazelnut: 9/10 Milk Chocolate: 7/10
I consider myself a hot chocolate snob, sort of. I love a great mug/cup of steamed milk with high quality chocolate. One of my top 10 places for fantastic hot chocolate.
Makes for a nice little after dinner treat, or something to snack on when walking around DC. Absolutely delicious - smaller portions/bigger price compared to a standard ice cream shop - but it's the price of quality! Try to go off-peak - and don't be...that guy that samples 10 flavors.More
We visited this ice cream shop today. We ordered three scoops. These scoops so small. I asked to add a little bit more. Its not really scoops, as I expected. We will not return there
What a nice treat to cool down with. Rhubarb & pineapple sorbet unexpected but a great combination. Perfect sizing to hop in, grab a cup and continue on your travels, or just hang and eat it there. It was a great change from all the...sub-standard ice cream trucks hanging about. Go for it, you know you want some... and it’s better for you.More
Really good gelato and cools you off when it's 99 degrees out. They even had Cinnamon. Close to the museums on the mall, the Nuseum and Fords Theater.
We had this every day during our trip to DC! To get out of the sun, be welcomed by friendly staff, and eat refreshing gelato was the most amazing experience. Our favourites were Tangerine, Stracciatella, Pineapple, Mojito, and Cinnamon. 100% Recommend to everyone who likes...gelato/sorbet!More
