Great Naan! Am going back

This high end Indian restaurant has wonderful food. I was visiting my sister with my two kids and we were delighted by this find. The restaurant is higher end Indian. We feasted in traditional Indian fare - tikka masala and lamb korma. The appetizers were wonderful. Salmon sliders. The naan is... read more

I ate at Indique after a long time - and it was a very disappointing experience. The food was tasteless and insipid. There was no flavor - no sensory thrills. Dal was bland, Entrees were a blob of paste. Desserts a disaster. Never again. Came home and had corn flakes - it was delicious!

After you've found the front door, the interior presentation is very good. Service is timely without being pressing, and the menu is intriguing although somewhat limp-wristed: one gets the impression of invention for invention's sake. "Fusion cuisine" has always been the refuge of the culinary charlatan who thinks that the world will be amazed by his genius; hence curried taco... More

After a hot afternoon it was lovely to sit down in a cool place and as we were all starving eat a good meal. The food at Indique is served beautifully and almost too pretty to eat. I've never seen a de-constructed samosa before either! We had a good variety of food, appetisers and entrees and there was plenty of... More

Excellent Indian food just steps from the Cleveland Park Metro Stop. The Chicken Chettinad was recommended and quite tasty. The side vegetables and rice are well prepared and well presented. A late lunch at the bar and the party of three enjoyed chatting with Sahil managing the bar. The restaurant hosted a large birthday party and so enjoyed the festivities... More

Food is excellent. We liked the combination of North Indian and South Indian items in the menu and tried our hand at one of the spicy South Indian dish.. it was awesome but SPICY to its true heritage. The fusion items in the menu are also done well so as to bring an Indian flavor to North American foods (like... More

The food is excellent, and the menu has a wide selection. The restaurant gave us a free appetizer to sample. The interior is pleasant. We ate upstairs. The food may be a bit too spicy for some kids. I loved this restaurant and will eat here again.

I ate dinner there last week at the suggestion of a neighbor who invited my friend and I to join her there. The ambience is serene and the food wonderful. And reasonably priced for DC. I'm not an expert on Indian food but what we all had (and shared) was just delicious. Dinner included Biriyani's (one veggie and the other... More

Was here after many years. Was pleasantly surprised to find that the quality of the food, service and ambience have remained exquisite. The menu offers a mix of street chat, south Indian delicacies and north Indian cuisine. A very modestly priced restaurant worth visiting. One of my favourites in Washington DC.
