What a great breakfast find. The eggs are so light and fluffy, not killed with butter. Thick French toast and not overloaded with oil. Pancakes and home fries all an A+. I also had the Irish coffee with Irish whiskey. Fabulous!!

We ate here twice during our four night visit to the DC area, and that should tell you something. We were within walking distance from the hotel and this diner was always packed and a very pleasant atmosphere. We asked on the street and were directed to The Diner the night we arrived. We trust locals. We were not disappointed.... More

Only offer one red, one white by the glass. That's ok but it arrived all fizzy. We were told to "let it settle down." Really?

True diner food. Value for money and big potions . It's as traditional as you can get in diner food opened 24 hours and quick service. Great food

Stopped in for a quick meeting before our all day meetings Normal diner food and staff Prices were normal for DC - staff was nice ! Don't forget to talk to your drivers (cab or uber) they know more about DC than anyone - they drive it everyday - ask lots of questions

I hadn't eaten here in about 14 years. They serve breakfast all-day at reasonable prices given the neighborhood. I had the Bread Pudding French Toast and it was great! I love bread pudding and French Toast so it was very appealing to me!

Before leaving DC and the States I really wanted to have a meal in a traditional diner and "The Diner" didn't disappoint. A great steak, nice french fries and friendly staff.

Definitely a good spot to start off your day. Food offering is basically what you get at most diners. Food and prices are ok.

After visiting family for thanksgiving, we chose this cute diner for brunch before leaving the city. We had a great time and enjoyed some delicious chocolate chip pancakes. They had a wide variety of foods on their menu. Our server was slow; however, the food came out quickly, and the hostess kept our waters filled.
