I love this restaurant! The chef combines unusual flavors in the tastiest of ways. My trout had actual little slices of lemon to accompany the capers and sauce and thin, crispy fried prosciutto...yum! Even their complimentary cheese bread is delicious.

Sat at the bar for a quick lunch. Prompt service, nice selections of dishes and wines by the glass. helpful waitstaff. Food was delicious. At least a quarter of business was DC locals. Probably would need a reservation for dinner.

I had lunch here with my sister and brother in law. The restaurant is around the corner from the Washington Court Hotel, and near the Hyatt Capitol Hill and Union Station. The food is French, and very good (I had escargot and crab cakes, both superb), the atmosphere is stylish, though the place has nothing but hard surfaces so it's... More

Great food, service OK, why does wine in the USA cost so much compared to prices in Europe? We paid $80 for bottle which was at the cheap end of the price-list.

We were waiting for an evening bus tour and luckily we came across this wonderful restaurant. We didn't stay long but while we were there we experienced professional and friendly staff and stunning food. Our waiter took pride in his knowledge of cocktails and food. There were many business people meeting for drinks and we were amongst the early diners... More

very good restaurant with a good mix of french revisited food and standard one. Service was perfect and very mindful. We were not in a hurry and we appreciated to take our time without being 'pushed'. Many business people as the Capitol is close to the restaurant.

We visited on a Thursday night. There were 3 of us, and it took over 2 1/2 hours to eat a relatively simple meal. The food was delicious--we had foie gras, risotto, salads, trout, and desserts (among the 3 of us, not each of us), but the service, while friendly, was slow. It seemed that the kitchen was at fault,... More

We visited the place for lunch in our recent trip to DC. They offered pretty decent choices for appetizers. The salads are fresh and smoked salmon is also nice. We also shared risotto and trout for entrees and enjoy the food very much.

My husband and I just returned from a mini vacation to DC and went to Bistro Bis for a romantic dinner. The waiter we had was phenomenal. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and very attentive. For an appetizer we shared the grilled octopus, tender and delicious. For dinner we had the veal sweetbreads and the beef Bourguigone. Both were incredible!... More

Very pleasant restaurant in DuPont Circle. We had a lovely table inside the restaurant next to the open windows looking onto the street so we could people watch. Menu was extensive and there were fixed price set menus that looked good value. As we only wanted one course we ordered from the menu. I had the French Pork Chop with... More
