Friendly staff, great food and wine, including unusual wines from Greece and Lebanon. Don't miss thus...but be sure to reserve ahead. All of the seafood and vegetarian dishes were excellent.

Spectacular says it all! The ambiance was great, service wonderful, with just the right amount of food recommended. The food....good Lebonese food is hard to find and should be treasured. We ordered hommus ma lahm, dolmades, kibbeh (out of the world), lamb bahar and ottoman pilaf. This was one of those meals where I forced myself to slow down so... More

We love this restaurant and go there every time we are in DC. We have shared with family and friends who agree that the food is great. Not much else to say: food is great. Would love to try more Jose Andres' restaurants.

Popular restaurant that serves some very tasty Mediterranean cuisine, tapas style. Pros: tasty food, friendly wait staff, great desserts and Turkish coffee. Cons: crowded (but there's outdoor seating), noisy, cost. Info: adjacent to the National Portrait Gallery in NW DC, this easy-to-find restaurant is within walking distance of the Verizon Center, Convention Center, and China Town. Lots of variety on... Did not have a reservation and waited nearly one hour but it was worth the wait! My wife and I shared 6 different small plates and each was excellent. Spoiler alert! They make some excellent craft cocktails that are worth sampling! Dining inside is good but the ambient noise is very loud. I found myself constantly asking my wife to... More

We had an early Dinner hear after I had read such great reviews on trip adviser. The choices were a little overwhelming so our server recommended the chefs choice that we could customize. She did not steer us wrong, there were small plates we would have never chosen that were our favorites and she even brought us a repeat of... More

I am embarrassed to say we "stumbled" upon Zaytinya during a whirlwind tour of DC. My nephew found it in a Google search when I said "Let's eat something different". Simply wonderful in every respect. I don't do negative reviews after a single visit, but I will definitely praise a place with glowing verbiage on only a single trip if... More

My husband and I went there twice while in DC for business and pleasure-we loved the food so much and one visit was not enough for the two of us to try everything we wanted to taste! We were fortunate enough to be able to sit on the patio (first come basis) which made it feel like we were somewhere... More

This is a tapas/mezze restaurant that has a wide variety of good vegetarian choices. The service was decent and the ambiance was very nice. It seems like it's particularly well suited to dining with a group.

I have been here for dinner, happy hour, and brunch. Oh my gosh, the crispy Brussels sprouts are dream worthy. The restaurant is a little pretentious but the food is good and the atmosphere is lovely. There is an amazing wine list and the staff are phenomenal. I definitely recommend a trip.
