Super chill neighborhood tavern. Host there is generally pretentious and cold. As far from friendly as is imaginable. Even with the place completely empty, getting a booth probably requires some type of illicite payoff. The servers are super chill and helpful. Menu is great. Wide...variety of appetizers and entrees. I had the BBQ Korean wings and the LT burger with truffle fries. The LT burger was just a buck more, truffle fries 2 bucks more, all super tasty and perfect medium rare. They have little alcove by the bar, great for people watching, and the requisite long bar for a casual lunch or dinner. Bathroom. 6/10 for cleanliness.More

Our families had a dinner reservation here for their outdoor patio, and even though we arrived early, the table was all set up and ready to go. The waitstaff was very attentive. Three members of our party ordered different burgers, and they all said they...were very, very good and cooked correctly to the rare-ness requested. My husband really enjoyed his meatloaf, one of their specialities, but my fried chicken was just OK. It was one piece of actual fried chicken and one piece of un-breaded chicken on a very small amount of mashed potatoes and gravy with some greens. Strange and bland. As far as ambiance goes, this is a busy street-traffic area with many people walking, biking, and scootering by. While we were seated, a man approached my husband asking for money. So just be aware this is not a private patio removed from people passing by.More

Logan Tavern, an old favorite over the years, haven’t frequented there as much as I used to. However, I’ve stopped in recently for the greatest drinks made by bartender John. Logan has a great fried chicken classic, with wonderful homemade mashed potatoes and generally Swiss...chard… I prefer the asparagus, though, so make sure you ask if you want something different. Chipotle chicken sandwich is wonderful as well, and more recently, I have fallen in love with the pulled pork barbecue sandwich, minus the bun… and a couple extra pickle slices! Bartender John is fantastic at getting your order right, your food tasty, even while I subtract a few calories with a few changes! Thanks John for keeping Logan, local, lovely, and (de)licious!More

We are locals and dropped in on a Saturday afternoon for a bite and drinks. We sat at bar and were served by a very friendly bartender (Shawn). Service was engaging and lighthearted . Everyday happy hour was a pleasant surprise - even on a...weekend. Excellent service and food selection. This restaurant/bar is in a very lively neighborhood in DC. It is always a great spot to either begin or end your DC adventures. PS. Their french fires are some of the best around.More

We swung by for a quick brunch and had an awesome experience. The chicken and waffles were a hit; waffles had the perfect touch of cinnamon and the friendly bartender helped me (a very indecisive guest) figure out the best brunch option (go with the...French toast, you won’t be disappointed).More

I ordered the watercress crisp salad w/ steak, crab toast and sparkling Rosè. I absolutely love the energy of the entire team! The night bartender 6/4 took care of me along w a new server in training. They were amazing! The service and attention to...detail is spot on. Logan Tavern has definitely not lost their training edge even in the beginning of the first DC pride post(ish) pandemic. The crab toast had a nice spice to it I loved, the salad was the exact freshness I needed for today. The meat was cooked to perfection. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to a pride weekend here again. Logan Tavern is a DC staple all must experience. Thank y’all for a great night! Definitely see y’all again soon.More

There's a secondary dining room that seats 60 people that can be reserved for groups of any size. There is a minimum that must be reached in order to reserve the space privately.

It's well over 6 blocks from Union Station, it's about a 2 mile walk from there. You would be better off taking the metro to Dupont and walking from there.
