Definitely satisfied my craving for good mexican food. I didn't survey the menu much, but went with a recommendation by a friend who has been going to the restaurant for 18 years! Highly recommend, and the margaritas were awesome.

We tried this place during our recent visit to DC. All 10 of us enjoyed our food. We liked that they used shredded beef in their tacos instead of ground beef. The prices were good. Service was good. No complaints.

Wanted to like this place. But it is not above average. Two of us had dinner on a recent Tuesday night. One of us had the chicken fajitas. Bland, with only a few small pieces of chicken. Definitely would not order again. Other person had the shrimp appetizer. She liked it. Then we split fried ice cream. Again, nothing special.... More

We ate here for lunch after a tour of the Library of Congress. We were tired and hungry and the menu looked good. First of all, the service left something to be desired. Our waiter was very iinattentive and slow. We ordered beer, and it was served warm. There is nothing worse at a Mexican restaurant than having hot beer!... More

It's not just about a meal, we dine out for the experience. For what they charged, the premium margarita made an impression that it was small. Sometimes, it can be small but very good - this was small. The chips were good but the salsa was lifeless. I asked for something hot and got a bottle of hot sauce. I... More

A short walk from out hotel we highly enjoyed our dinner here. Not flash, but good value. With two adults and a child we had a couple of drinks and mains for $60 plus tip. Definitely recommended for a satisfying, good value dinner out.

Only two nights in DC and went here for one of them. Upon arriving were greeted with a friendly smile, a glass of water and a fresh basket of tortilla chips and salsa. Ordered the quesadillas and fajitas which were delicious and fresh. Three margaritas and a free tequila shot later made for a wonderful night out and well within... More

From first look this is like any other Mexican place ( ie sombreros lots of Mexican beer signage and general tchotchkes) But to assume this is like any other Mexican and you would be making a huge mistake! Queso appetizer and fried plantains where both very respectable incredibly fast service on a Saturday night. Yummy salsa too, Enchiladas where perfection... More

I love their margaritas and seafood soup! Try them. A nice place to go with friends. A very nice change from the norm.

We went there twice while in DC, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both meals were excellent ! The chili rellanos were melt in you mouth delicious and the chili con caso was spicy but good. The waiters were great and the flan was delicious! Great choice!
