WOW! Best cupcakes I have ever eaten plus good coffee and friendly staff. Excellent location if you want to grab a sweet snack and walk to the Georgetown water front.

A friend recommended we stop by, the coffee was good and it's a cute little cafe with indoor seating and a couple places outdoors. It's a little confusing which side to go on to order as it seems like it's two stores but it's not....We didn't order food so can't speak to that but we liked our iced lattes.More

Baked and wired is one of the best bakery’s in the DC area! They are often very busy on the weekend with a very long line, but they end to move quickly and it is well worth the wait. They also have a coffee bar...that’s pretty good, but their bakery is spectacular! I love that everything is made from scratch and their flavor combinations are spectacular. Definitely worth the visit. Most people carry out, but there is a small seating area I in the back.More

Upbeat, fresh vibe. Although the shop was pretty busy, the staff and ambiance made the morning rush feel light and energized and not chaotic or crowded. The baked goods were excellent and they have a huge variety of breads, cupcakes, bars, macaroons ... you name...it. From a harsh critic of frosting, theirs is top notch. Get there early in the morning if you want any of their great quiche or breakfast buns as they sell out fast. ...and decided to give it a try. Got the unicorn and strawberry flavors. The cake part is moist and plentiful. (There is a reason they're called "cake cups".) The frosting was fine, but not very plentiful. So, if I had to choose, I'd pick Sprinkles...any day - generous, delicious frosting, and just enough cake to make it worth it. Baked and Wired could definitely use more frosting with a better consistency. All in all, if you have to wait in line somewhere, I'd pick Sprinkles...!More

Cupcakes galore, but the real star of the day is the granola aptly called, "Hippie Crack." Everything here is yummy.

I ordered the pumpkin gingerbread loaf for Thanksgiving. I had been looking forward to a nice, moist loaf. I was very disappointed to get a stale and inedible loaf which I eventually had to throw out. I reached out to Baked and Wired to let...them know. After a couple of emails and phone calls I finally got to speak to someone. I offered to bring back the loaf and was met with a very discourteous response that the loaf was freshly baked and their loaves are not for everyone. Buyer Beware!More

We went with 6 family members and ordered our cupcakes ahead. They were wonderful! We all had vanilla with buttercream frosting. They were outstanding. I can’t wait to visit my daughter again for another cupcake!

Don't be fooled by the other cupcake places in Georgetown. Baked and Wired is the only one worth the wait in line. We've never had a cupcake we didn't love here.

A little disappointed in the number of options but it's a small place, so whatever. It's divided between the coffee and the bakery sections. I had a soccer mom bar (delish but super sweet) and my partner had an apple bar (equally delish but less...sweet).More

The mint oreo cupcake is my go to and it never disappoints. I'm happy I have to walk to get there because this cupcake is massive! Only real locals know that Baked and Wired is better than Georgetown Cupcake and Sprinkles. Save yourself time and...money and skip the line at Georgetown Cupcake. You will not regret it!More

I live here and have visited all the good bakeries, including in Virginia. Baked and Wired beats everyone, and some others are very good. Funky atmosphere, sometimes the cashiers and baristas aren't very nice. But who cares?? I also love the coffee and the hibiscus...tea. I don't understand the negative reviews - ignore them.More
