I love eating at Bistrot du Coin when I get to the Dupont Circle area. The restaurant is a little pricey ($11.95 for a glass of house wine) and my steak was undercooked this time, but it's fun to visit once in a while.

Pleasantly surprised at the great cuisine. Creamed spinach was amazing as well as the French fries. Everything on menu looked amazing. We were glad we ate there. Service was great and the price fit the quality. 2 people no alcohol for about $50. Only wish portions were a bit bigger.

I asked for a plate of cheese, was not a great one. But it is a nice friendly place that stays open till late night.

We loved this restaurant and the great atmosphere. Inhale the merguez with couscous and was impressed and surprised at how tasty it was! I had lived in Geneva for seven years, and this merguez equaled any I had there or in France. The moules were gay and the rest of the food was delicious. Highly recommended for a taste of... More

After walking around Dupont circle, i came across the very attractive menu from "bistrot du coin"! I am french! So i was expecting, with a lot of antousiam, to eat some good food away from home! Ordered straight away the escargots witch came very quick and were cooked to perfection! Bread left on the table wasn't the freshest but the disapointment... More

The one good thing I'll say, the cocktail I had (vodka and pomegranate juice) was fine. The rest was sub-par. Service was indifferent, the noise (even though the restaurant was not full) was deafening, and the food quality poor. The mussels were NOT plump and juicy, they were mealy and flavorless. The frites were ok when they first came to... More

This French bistrot puts lots of Paris (France) bistrots to shame. We opted for different mussel dishes and all were very very good to excellent. There was a plentiful supply of free slices of bagette and a free flow of free tap water. Will certainly go back again.

I had been here about 5 years ago, and it hasn't changed a bit. Started with mussels, which were tender and delicious, and ordered the duck breast as a main entree. It was cooked perfectly, and was excellent. Others in my party ordered steak frites and sausage, which were both excellent. Would definitely come back

Great place, vibrant, busy (suggest you make reservations), plenty of choice on menu, reasonable prices, friendly staff, really good food. What else could you wish for.....

The best spot at this place is at the big open window over looking the street and a great spot for people watching while sipping on wine or enjoying one of the very authentic dishes that takes you back to the moments and memories you had in Paris.
