Wanting the atmosphere of Paris, we had lunch here last week and were not disappointed. The restaurant feels very French, and the food is all it should be. My husband had mussels in curry sauce--the small order, sans frites, alas--while I had a warm chèvre salad of interesting mixed greens. All very good.

I love this French cafe style restaurant. My go to spot for their mussels pot! I have been coming here for years. Low key decor, delicious authentic French cuisine. Reasonable prices with specials on alcohol every day of the week.

Herr you will find classic french food, couisine rustic/classic. Foie Gras, moules and entrecote. Fast service and always busy. I just love it. Not especially expensive. Fair pricing! Tryck their Moules Roquefort. / Joergen70

We've eaten there many times in the past. Recently returned with out-of-town friends. The food and service were as good as we remembered it. The place is truly reminiscent of a French bistro, loud and homey.

We have eaten at this restaurant in the past, and we had good memories. We were staying in the area and decided to go for an early dinner during the week. We got off to a rough start with a rather gruff hostess who directed us to the bar while we waited on a window table. The table we ended... More

This is a MUST if you are in DC and able to have brunch. DuPont is an area that is quickly becoming gentrified. Don't let that scare you away as you can find great places like Bistrot Du Coin that is an independently owned restaurant that will serve you great food in a very relaxed environment. Their brunch menu is... More

While on vacation, recommended by a local. Ravioli was creamy, rich and delicious. Steak was tasty. Lovely little place with exceptional service.

There was a time, in 2012, when, sadly, I decided not to eat at Bistro du Coin again. Sad, because I ate there first shortly after it opened, and ordered cassoulet for lunch on a cold winter afternoon, and it was delicious. I met the owner, Michel, and whenever I returned there, usually on leave from work overseas, he unfailingly... More

Too noisy. The steak over marinated. The length of the fries too small. The 🍞 bread, could be better. Reasonable prices.

Bistrot du Coin opened its doors on Memorial Day of 2000 by Yannis Felix and Michel Verdon. The motto is French, Fun and Friendly, this is our guideline to bring you the best experience ever at Bistrot Du Coin. The word Bistrot is defined in French as a neighborhood restaurant where you can eat good food at a fair price. The typical color of a French Bistrot is pale yellow to brown (otherwise known as Bistre) because the walls used to get dirty quickly from nicotine. Bistrot Du Coin is also known for its parties, three times a year to celebrate famous French events such as Bastille day on July 14th, The Beaujolais Nouveau on the third thursday of November or The New Year's Eve.
