We liked Bistrot Au Coin. We ordered the ravioli, and found it delicious, but oh-so-rich. The wait staff was brusque -- very hurried, not friendly. And the restaurant was not that full, so maybe understaffed? Decor was nice and informal, we felt very comfortable there, and great location right at Dupont Circle, close to the D.C. Metro. We would definitely... More

I love it when they have their windows open. The atmosphere is terrific. Nice drink selection. The menu is simple and most people go for the mussels. I like their sandwiches. Open faced and toasted. Yum!

The decor is what you could expect from a "typical French brasserie", the food was good (a lot of choice). What will prevent me for ever coming back there is the service: terrible! We have been served by an older lady who clearly did not enjoy doing this job! For being French, I'm kind of used to the French arrogant... More

This is classic menu for French bistro and the place is fun. Checkered table clothes, good service -- but the seating is crowded and the place is loud. Not a place for intimate conversations, but good food.

I love eating at Bistrot du Coin when I get to the Dupont Circle area. The restaurant is a little pricey ($11.95 for a glass of house wine) and my steak was undercooked this time, but it's fun to visit once in a while.

Pleasantly surprised at the great cuisine. Creamed spinach was amazing as well as the French fries. Everything on menu looked amazing. We were glad we ate there. Service was great and the price fit the quality. 2 people no alcohol for about $50. Only wish portions were a bit bigger.

I asked for a plate of cheese, was not a great one. But it is a nice friendly place that stays open till late night.

We loved this restaurant and the great atmosphere. Inhale the merguez with couscous and was impressed and surprised at how tasty it was! I had lived in Geneva for seven years, and this merguez equaled any I had there or in France. The moules were gay and the rest of the food was delicious. Highly recommended for a taste of... More

After walking around Dupont circle, i came across the very attractive menu from "bistrot du coin"! I am french! So i was expecting, with a lot of antousiam, to eat some good food away from home! Ordered straight away the escargots witch came very quick and were cooked to perfection! Bread left on the table wasn't the freshest but the disapointment... More

The one good thing I'll say, the cocktail I had (vodka and pomegranate juice) was fine. The rest was sub-par. Service was indifferent, the noise (even though the restaurant was not full) was deafening, and the food quality poor. The mussels were NOT plump and juicy, they were mealy and flavorless. The frites were ok when they first came to... More
