Absolutely one of the best dinners I have had in DC. Fresh bread, outstanding main course and delightful dessert. 5 stars!

I have not been to Vidalia for many years, and the return was worthwhile. Service is impeccable, wine list very complete, and all options delicious, with emphasis on seafood and meats. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and great service in an elegant, yet modern, Southern style. This was a perfect place to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.

Overall a good experience and some decent food. We were a large business group and they catered to us nicely. Great bread and scallops. My pork was a little dry and tough but tasted good.

Vidalia is a fantastic choice for anyone wishing to experience and taste traditional and organically-sourced Southern US cuisine. Staff are knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to your time and menu-choice needs. This is a welcome and quality slow-food experience. Menu changes regularly so there is always something new to discover. Pricey but worth it !

This is one of those places that I count among a handful that has to be experienced at least once in a lifetime. I always plan a visit when in DC. Even the bread is to be experienced: a mixture of corn bread (sweet), biscuit, cheese Jalapeno muffin and focaccia. Started with a favorite of mine: foie gras. This version... More

We ate at Vidalia for the 1st time last night. What a great experience! Our waiter Will was very attentive, explained the menu changes and was always quick to refill our beverages. I really don't like pimento cheese comma but they serve complementary pimento cheese with flatbread. This is no ordinary pimento cheese, it is Smoky and delicious! They also... More

The waiter was rude and the food was not served at the correct temperatures. The gazpacho was warm and the pork chop was almost raw in the center.

Oddly I gave 4 of 5 and strongly recommend, but still have some harsh critiques, why? Overall I would recommend to a friend based on good food and ambiance. However why a 4, due to service (excellent at the beginning of the evening but really tapered off to terrible by the end where we got the lowest level person attending... More

Enjoyed a business dinner at Vidalia on a recent trip to DC. We had great evening filled with delicious food and excellent service. Great drinks from the bar, too. I had the shrimp and grits... best I've had in a long time. Great lemon chess pie as well. I grew up near Vidalia, GA (home of the famous onion), so... More
