We like to visit a place where eat “Tapas”, then we go to “JALEO”. The site is awesome, “ambient”, music, (low noise from conversations) decoration, attention; all super. But the food…. authentic Spaniard cuisine…. (I know it very well, my roots come from there). We try a bunch of the Tapas, it was awesome, could not get wrong no matter... More

Definitely give this restaurant a try! The food is on the lighter fare, since it's mostly small plates. I went during restaurant week and enjoyed all my selections except the salmon (blah and lacking the oomph all the other dishes contained). Everything was prepared fresh and the tastes were exquisite. This restaurant appears to be run very well. From the... More

Great place to try new things. Food, drinks, and decor were all outside the box. We will be back to bring friends. ja·le·o häˈlā-ō/ noun a lively dance of Andalusian origin, or the music or handclapping that accompanies it.

We are fans of Jose Andres and were looking forward to trying one of his restaurants on a recent trip. We have been obsessed with tapas ever since we went to Spain a year ago, and Jaleo did not disappoint. We didn't get too adventurous in our ordering and just went with 6 items off the menu and were full.... More

Great place to enjoy with a group and taste a variety of small plates. Everything was delicious. It seemed like it can get noisy but the round table helped to stay engaged with everyone. Look forward to returning and tasting more items.

My 12 year old and I went to Jaleo on a Thursday for lunch. Initially I was concerned because the place was empty. By the time we ordered our appetizers the place was packed and I know why, the food is delicious! The conos de salmon and the potato wrapped chorizo are a must try. Although they are a small... And great location especially if you are attending an event at the Verizon Center. We visited during restaurant week and were extremely satisfied with the menu options and portions. Don't miss the bread or the shrimp dish - both are exceptional. Service was fair - perhaps they were short handed or overwhelmed by restaurant week and the pre concert crowd.... More
