We came this evening and had dinner to celebrate our daughter's birth day. The pasta was great and so was the coffee. Will come again... Ruth Haephrati Michael Haephrati Emma Haphrati

This place is close to the Washington Hilton. They offer a variety of pastas and salads. And also some fish and meat dishes. Prices are reasonable.

We had the chicken special and the gnocci special which were very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Our waiter tried to be attentive but appeared to have too many tables. We recommend the restaurant.

I've eaten here a number of times. Everytime the food has been terrific, the service is consistently caring. The staff seem to pitch in to help one another... so I appreciate the effort. If the "home made noodles" are not made here, they're certainly made by someone who knows what they're doing.... delicioso! Nice job with every dish. All is... More

Stopped here for dinner with my family (wife & 3 young kids). Service was excellent, and VERY accommodating for our youngsters. The menu is really well selected, and our meals were excellent. Highly recommended.

We visited on a hot muggy July night. We were seated outside, which we loved. We got a feel of what Washington DC is really like by sitting in the quaint restaurant. The salad was delicious, crisp, and fresh. I ordered tortelli which I loved. My husband ordered pork he loved it as well. The waiter was prompt always Keeping... More

I agree with an earlier reviewer. Friendly Italian Bistro. Good location for people watching, in a busy corner. I loved the Prosciutto bar, and the prosciutto itself. Good appetizers. Limited menu, but all our meals were good. Our service was very good. Our desserts were also very good. Good spot for small groups or a casual date night.

I was greeted with a friendly simile, seated in a comfortable setting and provided attentive and helpful service throughout the evening at La Tomate. The menu was interesting with several attractive chef's specials. The food was very good. It wasn't the best that I've had, but the service was outstanding. I was told by my waiter that the restaurant has... More

The pasta was fresh and absolutely a treat for my tastebuds. The outside eating area is so very pleasant . The waiter enriched the experience even more with his upbeat and inviting nature .

The ambience, the service, the food, the drinks... WOW! It was a "where do we go for dinner tonight?" Kind of evening. Everyone was exhausted from all the tours and were very hungry. We came across this restaurant and decided lets go. Best Decision for a Sunday evening. Must try this place or if you're a local, definitely take advantage... More
