Because we stayed at Hotel Lombardy we ate at Café Lombardy for one dinner and two breakfasts. The reason for that is they are on the slow side. My dinner was excellent, pork chop, was cooked perfectly. Breakfast, the almond French toast tastes almost too fried. The chocolate mousse (dessert through room service) was delicious, but two desserts through room... More

we ate dinner there once and breakfast twice and the service was very good (but not speedy so make sure to give yourself plenty of time). The food was very good but a bit pricey.

Very nice restaurant with delicious food and good service. We ordered the pancakes with bacon and the bagel breakfast sandwich. We were so full that we skipped lunch.

Slightly expensive, but affordable and worth it. Food was fantastic and the service was top notch. We sat near the window in early evening hours - great view of the busy Pennsylvania Avenue.

Super staff- friendly and most accommodating - the setting is relaxed with a certain touch of class- makes even breakfasts feel special- the salmon eggs Benedict were great!! Bowls of fruit are fresh and full! This business district hotel and restaurant makes a trip most comfortable and memorable!

The choices at both meals as well as the times the restaurant was open were both to our liking. The staff were attentive and prompt.

Found myself in D.C. and happened to run across the Hotel Lombardy so I stopped in and treated myself to a wonderful rockfish dinner. Service was excellent and the meal was as well. Gotta come back with my hubby.

Quality food, if not entirely consistent (I had one of the omelettes twice in my stay and while I liked both versions they were wildly different and I much preferred the first). Really fantastic staff.
