Of all of our "native" food, barbecue is uniquely, authentically and gloriously All-American. Old Glory, located on historic M Street in Georgetown, captures the food, flavor and feel of the great barbecue restaurants of the United States, and offers representations of each styles of barbecue served in different parts of the country. "It looks like a rib joint, sounds like a rib joint and smells like one...most important, of course, the kitchen smokes fine barbecue," says the Washington Post.

The huge barbecue pit, the open kitchen, and the 1901 Silver Dollar Four Winds hand-crafted bar, create lively, exciting atmosphere that is downright down-home.

Great BBQ

Great BBQ brisket sandwich and awesome choice of BBQ sauces. The service was pleasant and efficient although there were few patrons at the time. Our experience was marred by a loud and obnoxious patron at the bar. Although management tried to ask him to leave, he insisted he would be better... read more

An apt name for the establishment ring true…Glory Days…days of past glory. Due to consistent bad service over a span of a week, I will go elsewhere in the future. I will go elsewhere. In the Springfield/Burke area, there was not many choices, Glory Days provided good American cuisine in a sports themed restaurant. The last time I visited, it... More

Found this place as a result of a Google "best burger in DC" - which brought up 10 places. Thrillist raved about the Big Belly Burger - so why not?! Great building - super friendly staff. They take reservations, which I can see are needed during high traffic times. Huge Bourbon selection - nice draft selection. We had the Old... More

I wasn't really impressed. It's loud (and it wasn't that busy), not overly comfortable, service is a bit of a miss. The food isn't fantastic. It's ok for what it is I suppose. The rub on the ribs was a bit um yeah ok. I didn't like it. The turkey club sandwich is nice. I guess thats sort of the... More

Hard to rate, since I didn't get any service. Visited on a Saturday night in December. Was about 6:30 p.m. Bar/restaurant was 1/2 full, MAYBE. Promptly seated by hostess. Sat there for 5 minutes with no reaction or interaction from staff. So I got up and left. It wasn't that busy, and it wasn't like I was hidden in a... More

I dropped in to watch the Army-Navy game, obviously trying to have the most hyped-up patriotic dining experience of my life. Have you read the name? It was a solid good bet. The bar upstairs was packed, and I wasn't about to turn off everyone's basketball game. I was pretty bummed and decided to settle for a dining room seat,... More

Went for lunch on my birthday, not many people in at lunchtime but everyone friendly and welcoming. Good food, great music, great value for money and if you're there on your birthday and mention it they'll give you a free birthday ice cream

Searched for a place to have a last evening meal while visiting DC. Sat in the bar area that is uniquely decorated. Unfortunately there was one loud customer but management did ask him to leave or settle about half way through our meal. Ordered the Smoked Chicken Thigh Sandwich with fries. The chicken was tasty and moist inside, but was... More
