I visited this place because I have heard so much about the brunch in the past. Was finally able to make time to visit. Not impressed, had to petition the server several times and he appeared to be in a rush every moment. I asked the other server nearby a question and his facial expression appeared to be a total... Went for dinner on a crowded Thursday night but were seated immediately. This was our 2nd time here and once again the food did not disappoint. Our waiter Matthew was really good. Pleasant, courteous and not overbearing. Kudos to Georgia Brown's once again.

Dinner for six for a business meal, it was walking distance to our hotel and were able to get a reservation on short notice. Pleasantly surprised on a Wednesday night to have live jazz - it added a lot of ambience, we all enjoyed it. They didn't have the strip steak I wanted, and ended up going to a very... More

I went to DC with a girlfriend for a quiet weekend summer getaway and on the way home stopped by Georgia Brown's at the suggestion of three friends- and they were RIGHT! This has to be by far one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. The food, atmosphere, staff, drinks and music was spectacular. Visiting this restaurant is... More

A friend (he's local) took us to Georgia Browns after a days sightseeing. It was a good choice. The food was terrific, the cocktails were as good as we've had anywhere, and their kids menu also hit the spot (our two are 10 and 12). The service was top notch too. It wasn't the cheapest place we've ever eaten at,... More

Really well down, do not eat much southern food but it was as good experience I tried the jambalaya and mac and cheese. The dirty-rice was good and the mac and cheese was amazing.

What a find this place is! The jazz was mellow, the food was not to be believed delicious, the service was impeccable and besides the wonderful buffet, you get to take an entree home with you. We will be back.

Georgia Brown's is an elevated take on classic southern food. Very quick service, almost too quick. Mac & Cheese served as a side to crab cakes stuffed with a prawn, delicious. Deconstructed jambalaya did not disappoint. Corn bread served table side was slightly dry, but honey butter was a perfect compliment. Creative drink options. Would go back a second tasting.
