Brunch on Sunday

The really cool thing about Georgia Brown's is that you can eat brunch on Sunday and then take home an entree for dinner. This is good Southern fare in a chic atmosphere.

Took a group of folks from out of the country to Georgia Brown's for lunch. They were uniformly impressed. The ambience is warm and inviting and fitting to what a visitor to Washington DC would expect from a national capital. With advance reservations, they had prepared a wonderful table for the 10 in our party and dedicated one of the... More

We came due to good reviews and closeness to our hotel. And left really impressed! The food was delicious and very generously sized. This was my family's first experience of southern food and it was delicious. Highly recommend the Jambalaya! The desserts were also amazing, though we could barely squeeze them in!

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner here. It is a very popular place. Lots of people milling about and waiting for a table, so best to have a reservation and plan on dining on the early side. The bar scene was also really hopping. I had a delicious crab stuffed salmon and my husband had the tenderloin. Mine... More

I hosted clients and the experience exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding. The atmosphere is the perfect mix of comfort and chic. The hospitality was warm and welcoming. The entire staff demonstrated that they have great pride in working there and that they want you to love their restaurant. And we did! The GM, Ayanna; the Chef, Neal; and... More

The food here was phenomenal and the atmosphere and service were just as good. There is an assortment of southern dishes and the pork chops and fried chicken were just as you would expect while traveling through the deep south. The sides were different but perfectly pared with the main dishes. There is a genuine concern of the staff for... More

The wife and I were longing for a good Southern meal with a fine dining experience. By recommendation, we sauntered into this little slice of heaven. Thankfully, we were seated right away without reservations and our server Avery met us with a warm smile and personality. His descriptions and recommendations were just what the doctor ordered. From the fresh buttered... More

I had shrimp and grits. Small portion but tasty. The fried green tomatoes were not your typical kind, but so good! You get some good biscuits and corn bread sticks while waiting. The staff was a little slow and didn't provide menu or restaurant information. This was my first visit. It wasn't busy there. They were friendly enough. They are... More
