We are here on a Sunday night and the restaurant was packed. Service is very friendly. Portions are huge and tasty. This is a very good restaurant.

The vegetarian dumplings are amazing, best dumplings I've ever had. Especially since my wife and I don't eat pork, this was quite a treat.

Authentic Chinese food, and you can request no MSG and it will be made that way. Prices are reasonable, and you get your money's worth.

I always stop here at least once when I'm in town. I've never had a bad meal. This time I had some wonton soup, ribs and beef and bell pepper. The beef and bell pepper was exceptional. The ribs were ok, not exceptional, but good. The wonton soup was good. Service is always top notch. I highly recommend it.

Expansive menu of Chinese dishes, sushi etc. I love the fact that they have Orange Chicken with broccoli that is not deep fried. Spicy and as tasty as the breaded version. My husband had the hot and sour soup and said it was one of the best he ever had. Unfortunately the Mai Tais we had were not very good...

Based on the reviews I was expecting some good Chinese food. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and to say it was bad is an understatement. It took about 3 minutes from the time I placed the order until it was at my table. Not exactly fresh food if you can cook chicken in 3 minutes. The entire dish was... More

We went for lunch. We had vegetable spring role, prawn fried rice and lemon chicken. Lemon chicken was too sweet. Rest food was ok. The drink was nice. After our meal we got a fortune cookie with a message and cut orange. We enjoyed reading message on the cookie.

We took our friends and family to this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. The food was the best and most authentic Chinese food I have eaten in this country. I had lemon chicken in a restaurant in Taiwan that specialized in that dish and it was unbelievably delicious! Many times I ordered in the states at different... More

Meiwah is near Georgetown off of M street. It's been there forever. They have a fast to-go area and their vegetable steamed dumplings are just perfect with a chewy consistency and a filling that is filling. Try that with the spicy cabbage salad. Their food seems authentic to me but I have not tried everything on their menu yet.

... so that we had time for more visits at Meiwah. The food was great! We ordered four different dishes and we were all very pleased with our food. If we had known how big the portions were, we would have shared some dishes instead. It felt bad leaving so much (good) food. The waitress had good knowledge about food... More
