Great choices on the menu. Had a lamb dish with yogurt which was excellent. Good service. Nice place.

Crowded for lunch on Saturday, many people wearing convention badges. Unfortunately too busy to prepare kibbeh nayah, but the consolation prizes were good. Fried artichokes and hummus appetizers were excellent. So was beef/lamb shawarmah and lentil soup.

A great place to eat well-made, fresh and tasty food. Good alternative from meat-heavy meals! Pleasant staff and not too expensive make this a solid recommendation...

Have been to Lebanese Taverna, ordered Hummes, Taboula and chicken wings for the appetisers. They were delicious, portion size is decent. I ordered a Shawerma sandwich for the main course and it really disappointed me. The lamb/beef wasn't tasted Shawerma, was too oil, the bread used is not a Shawerma bread. It wasn't a good Shawerma, and I hope they... More

The Lebanese Taverna has an extensive menu of dishes from the eastern Mediterranean region. Great variety, great flavors. Service is good, and they can handle large groups.

Great place for four to share appetizer platter and enjoy our meals. Loved the decor. Despite being crowded, the noise level was manageable (no loud music). We shared an appetizer platter that was delicious and each of us had entrees we enjoyed.

Good Middle eastern restaurant. We had the Shish Barak (appetizer, yogurt sauce with a tortellini filled with mi nt and meat), sharhat ghanam (grilled lamb), ouzi (lamb with rice, spices and yogurt) was the one we liked best

It's so interesting to see how many kids eat a variety of "foreign" foods these days. The hummos was delicious (there is an "endless portion" if you so desire), the pita bred was divine, my falafel sandwich was excellent. Moderate prices. Singles or couples beware: this is serious family restaurant with the attendant nose. I'd suggest eating dinner there very... More

Looked and smelled great ... but was expecting a little more ... chicken shawarma was tasty but dry, not moist and little lite in the garlic sauce ... fries hot but needed a little seasoning .... very quick service and food was all hot!

I had the appetizer plate (there are two) which was essentially an assortment of Lebanese dishes, some vegetarian, some with meat. Each was made from fresh ingredients. There was not a dog in the line. The menu has something for everyone.

Description
Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.
