We ate Lebanese here during a short stay nearby. Good food, well presented. We enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant as well - busy enough to feel active but no so much that it ever felt 'busy'. One thing - there is a *lot* of food, especially with the complimentary pitta bread.

Took the family to Washington, DC for a long weekend and I am so glad I picked this restaurant for lunch on the way to the zoo (which was also amazing!). They have a kids menu that doesn't dumb everything down, offering hummus, etc. in keeping with the cuisine of the restaurant, rather than just hot dogs and burgers. I... More

Lebanese Taverna got good reviews... they were almost not good enough... My wife & I walked in and I was struck by how beautiful it was inside. Nicely laid out, shelves in the rear with back lit vases. Our server was Humberto who filled us in on the history of the restaurant, then provided helpful information on the menu. The... More

Fantastic sea bass dish! Get the Chef’s Platter: wide variety of tasty appetizers, perfect introduction to all the flavors and textures of Lebanese food. About $35 per person for dinner, no booze or dessert, before tip.

The food here is excellent!! We had the spicy hummus and fresh baked pits as an appetizer!!! Was the best I have ever had!! I enjoyed the falafel salad and my husband had the shwarma salad. Wow , both were so fresh and flavorful. You can tell everything is so fresh and really divine. The only negative i had was... More

I highly recommend this restaurant! Get the mezze shared platter to start and then dive into the entrees! Honestly delicious food and very conveniently located next to Woodley Park metro station! Must try!

The best part about coming to this restaurant last week was going with a large enough party to share all of the appetizers- hummus, baba ganouj, watermelon and feta, etc. It could easily have been a tapas dinner paired with Lebanese wine but the entrees were too hard to ignore. The sea bass came as a whole fish and not... More

Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.
