The title says it all - really good food and certainly did not let us down. The whole family ate like kings and queens. $100 for a family of 4 including drinks whilst not cheap was good value for money - we will definitely be coming back!!

Pretty good food for a chain restaurant. We had all the usual fare. Hummus a traditional favorite. Very good service.

Location: this place is conveniently located just across a metro station on your way to the zoo. They have a fenced outdoor sitting area and a cozy, pleasant environment indoors. Tables are small, close to each other, and a table for two will not have enough space for glasses of water, dishes, and utensils. Actually you will have the same... More

It was a beautiful day for sitting outdoors but the mosquitoes were starving and there was no fan set up to keep them away. Therefore, I parked myself at the bar to enjoy a beverage and a meal. I was impressed with the happy hour selections which included drinks and bites from $4 - $7. I ordered the lentil soup... More

The food, service and ambiance exceeded our expectations. We ordered two sampler platters and got to try a bit of everything. Great Mediterranean cuisine.

During my week visit to Washington DC have eaten dinner and lunch at the restaurant. At dinner my family and I shared kibbe hummus and the best stuffed grape leaves. For entrees a variety of lamb and chicken dishes. For dessert blakava with honey ice cream and Turkish coffee. For lunch a colleague and I had falafel with tabouleh salad.... More

When staying across the street at the Marriott Wardman Park, we came to the Lebanese Tavernia for dinner, and it was an outstanding meal. Both the beef & lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma were terrific, and the house salads were just as good. The Tavernia Platter gives you a bit of everything with a choice of shawarma meat, rice, hommus... More

The bar food is great. The hummus and bread is really very good. The food we tasted here was all very good. The restaurant food however didn't match our expectations. Our groups went for kebabs and although very nicely spiced were overcooked. I had lamb and my colleagues had chicken. Quite why they were too well done is a mystery... More

My first experience at a Lebanese restaurant and I can't stop raving about it. My boss raved about it during a convention stay at the Marriott where she had to take a break from it because she ate there 3 times in two days. I went on a solo mission and for one hummus order and a salad, I had... More

Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.
