This is one of the best lebanese foods I have had outside Lebanon (and I have been to Lebanon about 10 times already ). Everything was very delicious and very very close to the local real lebanese. We received a bit of a "bad" lebanese attitude because we just walked in without a reservation a bit late. I guess they... More

Our 20 minute wait turned into an hour. They had an event at the bar which was at the front of the restaurant and it blocked the entrance. We were not allowed to sit in the waiting area and were sat in some random chairs. The chicken kabobs were good and worth the wait but the management didn't even offer... More

Our waiter was very resourceful and suggested an assortment of dishes which were all great. The lace was buzzing at dinner and everyone seemed to be happy with their meals. the cocktail list and wine list was impressive. What we ate and drank was A1!

I have been going there since the late 80s. Amazing food, very nice atmosphere. Family business. I highly recommend all of their restaurants. The prices are very good. And the variety of dishes is very good. Give it a try! I love their hummus and the rest of their appetizers!

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We were 8 total and opted for the family style meal with a great mezze starter followed by sumptuous portions of tender lamb, chicken and sausage kebabs.

The food was great! My wife and I both got sandwiches and we loved them both. She got the chicken, and I got the one with beef and lamb. The complimentary bread was pretty good too....soft, warm, light, and filling. Our waitress wasn't the best (Natasha). She came across somewhat rude and didn't refill our drinks once. Honestly, we barely... More

We stop there for dinner and were delighted by everything we selected. The chef's selection, charmingly served on a 3x3 plate, was a feast to our eyes and taste buds. All your familiar middle east favorites are here but a little more sophisticated. We complement it with a few more small plates and had desserts....perfect for 2 people. Will certainly... More

I had dinner with friends here recently. It was the first time I'd eaten Lebanese food and I was nervous, but feeling adventurous. No need to be nervous - the food was divine! We had the Chef's Platter as a starter - which gave a nice range of tidbits to try - all yummy! For my entre I tried the... More

This location has had a facelift since my last visit a while ago. Much more attractive interior with dimmed lighting, high arched ceilings and elegant Mediterranean themed touches. We sat in an elevated booth seat from which you get a good view of the dining room with varied table arrangements - a few rounded banquettes looked like good places to... More

I have been to the Lebanese Taverna many times and love the food. I love – and make – a lot of Lebanese food and this is authentic. The fresh pita bread is fantastic, the hummus, fish, meat dishes are all great. For this visit, I had the Kibbeh Nayyeh (a Lebanese tartare of sorts, raw meat) and the ouzi... More

Description
Come see our new look with a contemporary feel in a refined setting with subtle touches of a Lebanese home. We've added seats to the bar and a new lounge too! Still great for groups of all sizes and the private room now seats 56 people. Located in walking distance from the Marriott Wardman Park and Omni Shoreham Hotels and directly across the street from the Woodley Park Metro station, our DC location is ideal for corporate and social events. Validated self-parking is also available in the garage directly behind the restaurant. The Cedar Room accommodates up to 60 people for a private seated event and 40 people for a standing reception. For smaller affairs, the room can be offered as a semi privately as well. The main dining room is also available for larger parties.
