Terrific Burgers, French Dip and other sandwiches. A good variety of local beer, and awesome desserts. The staff was friendly and made for an overall great experience.

Delicious food for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Fantastic service! Julianna was our server, and we loved her. Nice place to eat and relax while you get out of the heat for a little while.

Clyde's has been a "go to" spot for me over the last 11 years. The crab cakes do the region proud and the atmosphere during school is great!

I have not written a Tripadvisor review in a long time, but an experience this dissapointing needed to be addressed. We had reservations this past Saturday, July 23rd. We were greeted and sat immediately. I found the restaurant rather dirty. It had the feel of grunge all over it. There was even food on the benches where we were seated,... More

We chose this restaurant because it had a bit of history and the menu looked good. I had the Bucatini all'Amatriciana and the pasta was terribly undercooked. I'm not the type of person to complain or routinely send meals back to the kitchen, but it was so undercooked, I could hardly chew it. I did send it back and chose... More

The place was packed, but with no reservations the host found us a table. Friendliness was shown by all personnel from the host to the waitress to the bus boy. Try their seafood. It is well prepared and delicious. This restaurant is a must when visiting the Georgetown area.

Having dined here 5 times, it is impossible to find fault with it. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about both the food and wine menus, and the food is fantastic (menu changes so you won't get bored going back again). It is lively, so be prepared NOT to have a quiet dinner --- if you want to dine quietly... More

Stopped in for some lunch. Would agree with most other reviews - decent food for a fair price (6 of us ate for $96 + tip). The service was top notch. Our server was very attentive and cordial (I forgot her name or I'd give her props here). Recommended, but also suggest reservations as we did have to wait 15... More

Opened in 1963, Clyde's of Georgetown qualifies as an institution. This animated tavern in the heart of Washington's most famous neighborhood popularized saloon food and practically invented Sunday brunch. More than 50 years later, Clyde's continues the tradition, serving classic American cuisine to Georgetown locals and famous faces while passers-by stop in and mingle at the long oak bar. The re-designed interior is an open invitation to the restaurant's life and times with its many travel posters, paintings, and bronze statues. Clyde's of Georgetown remains a Washington classic.
