I enjoyed a quick lunch here one afternoon. With nice weather, the patio was great. The food was good. Not the greatest sushi I've ever had (though I've been to Japan, so it's a high bar), but good portion size for a quick lunch and some unique rolls that I hadn't seen before. Very easy to get to from a... More

We had lunch at this small establishment and enjoyed it very much. It was not nearly as busy as the surrounding restaraunts and the service/food were excellent.

We were staying at the Gaylord Hotel and took a trip into DC specifically for Tono. It was my first time going but it will not be my last. The food is spectacular from the tempura to the ramen and especially the sushi. They have a section where you can choose to order small amounts of different fish or you... More

Our first dinner in D.C. was at Tono. We were very happy to find some comfort food in the big city. Our wait staff was helpful and attentive. The food was good and was served quickly. We ate here a second time for lunch. We only had an hour for lunch, so it got a bit stressful. I ordered the... More

We ate here two nights while in DC. I didn't have sushi either night but from looking at other tables it was appealing and people seemed to be enjoying it. I had hit entrees both nights. The food was good, the portions plentiful and prices good. Our appetizers were yummy as well. The pickled vegetables were a standout, crispy and... More

Sushis are fresh and taste very good. The waitress is very attentive and caring for glutenfree people. The combinations are excellent and a lot to eat for the money.

Calamari slices too breaded. Tuna no taste. Seaweed salad good. Spicy tuna avocado good. Good value at happy hour. Excellent new waitress. Nice to sit outside.

Met colleagues here for dinner and drinks. I haven't had sushi very often and am a vegetarian but they had a veggie platter that was pretty good. The rolls were very large and quite tough to bite into - which made eating them a bit awkward. I had a Lychee Mojito that was nice. Great to sit outside!
