We dined here for brunch on a Saturday in November and we had a nice table with a view of the water. The dining room was quiet and relaxing. The buffet was $49.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. The food - The fried chicken was dry, the mini desserts were hard on the edges, especially the red velvet cake... More

Sequoia was recommended and since it had a waterfront location, thought I'd try it. The menu was just okay- My husband had the Chilean sea bass and it was delicious. I tried the lobster pot pie and it left a lot to be desired. Wasn't well seasoned and I was disappointed. Service was very good. Didn't leave feeling that I... More

We just had dinner on Monday night. Seated quickly with flair. Everything downhill from that point on. Our server was a little snobby and frequently disappeared. My scallops were marginal at best. My octopus appetizer was a little tough and my wife's grilled squid tasted like a rubber tire - really bad. Overall we were really disappointed and will NOT... More

An incredibly beautiful and quite pricey restaurant which was rather let down by the food and service. The food was ok, but I had a bowl of mussels, several of which had barely opened and should not have been sent to the table. Our waitress had an odd way of checking all was ok - she just breezed by the... More

We hosted 13 friends and family for Sunday brunch at Sequoia and had. wonderful experience. The staff was very kind and the service was excellent. We had a number of small kids with us and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. The food and drinks were excellent. We were seated in the window... More

Finding the right restaurant in D.C. is always a challenge with so many to pick from but we decided on this one and didn't regret it. We both had the Fisherman's Pot and it was delicious. Our server, Sergio was EXCELLENT and the Manager Jason exceptional. The atmosphere and the view of the bay was beautiful and we had one... More

The seafood and all of the other items were excellent. If you want good food and a great view, I highly recommend the Saturday brunch.

Yum Sea food. I had a lobster bisque and lamb to follow (although I did eat others crab cakes). I thought it was pretty expensive. Great view over the Potomac river and excellent service.

Seated outside, lovely evening, perfectly grilled tuna steak and good beer. What more do you want? Would really recommend an evening at this location, nice square with lot's of restaurants and bars, great atmosphere in the evening for a terrific night out, all located at the waterfront with picture-perfect views of the water & scenery.

The restaurant has great ambience. If the weather is nice, ask to sit outside. The courtyard is beautiful with gorgeous views of the river. There is a big selection of food and pretty much everything we ate was very tasty. Service is great, as well. It is an expensive brunch but it is worth it.
