Great neighborhood find. Excellent food (and sangria!) And extensive menu. Attentive service. Wish they had tostadas in addition to salads.

Had reservations and we weren’t disappointed with this place. Good service and good quality everything. Great location not to far from downtown.

The place looks nice and all! The menu at presentation also ! But the truth is !!! It’s the most dirty place I have ever seen! We found a dead cockroach in our salads! ! PLEASE!! Do not go eat to this place! Discussing!! 🤮....There all show! But really dirty!More

Great drinks, nothing watered down here! We shared a fajita (chicken/steak) for lunch and the quality of both was top notch. Lovely outdoors area, and definitely a place to return to and try other dishes. I saw a salad being served near me, and it...looked fabulous! Next time……More

We were so happy we found this place on our visit to DC this weekend. The food was excellent and the prices were incredible. Very nice inside too. Staff were very nice.

Lauriol Plaza is a DC institution by now. I do miss the old location at 18th St NW and S as it was a neighborhood restaurant at the time. The new building at 18th and T is huge. The food is good, but the prices...have increased. $50 for a pitcher of margaritas is a bit high to me. The good is hearty and very good. Will definitely fill you up. The complimentary chips and salsa are the best. The chips are made on site as well as the salsa (I believe). I tend to only about four entrees - masitas de puerco, lomo salado, beef fajitas, carne asada. I also really like a swirly frozen margarita of strawberry and lime. It can get very crowded on the weekends. During Covid19, they have put tables and tents in the parking lot behind building. You can also choose to sit in sidewalk dining section or inside where they have erected partitions between sections. They do have an online reservation system and I tried using it for my most most recent visit but no tables were available for time I wanted so my friend and I took our chance for a walk up and were seated immediately.More

We've been visiting Lauriol Plaza since it was the tightest, smallest and crampiest little old house to dine in DC yet with exceptional cuisine! They've not given up their incredible goodness for style, space and looks! For many years we've enjoyed dining here, they never...fail in the service, quality, variety, ambience and uniqueness of it all. Whether dining open air or inside, the food is great and consistant over the years. A must place to dine alone or with friends, any time of the year, day or night. Highly recommended for the novice Latin food lover, or the gourmand. Go for it, you will not regret it!More

We went on a Friday evening. Very busy so make sure you book. We got a table right in the middle of the restaurant, which was great. Loads of atmosphere and happy noises all around. Great service and food. The restaurant was recommended by friends...and we had a great time.More

I got the Salmon with Shrimp. So yummy. They also have delicious Mango and Peach frozen Margaritas in addition to the regular lime and strawberry. I also had the Coconut Flan for dessert. It's one of my favorites. It was delicious!

This is one of best Mexican cuisine restaurants I've encountered in almost 50 years in the D.C. area. Enchiladas were very tasty, thin tortillas, full of meat, chicken or beef.

For more than 20 years I have been going to this restaurant when I visit Washington. I have never once been disappointed in the food or the service. Excellent in all respects.

A large group of work colleagues and I went to this restaurant for a post conference dinner. They easily accommodated our large group after making a reservation online. The service was top notch - from the chips and salsa - to the house made sangria,...we all left full and singing the praises of our individual dishes. I had the pork carnitas tacos and they were yummy! Everyone on my end of the table cleaned their plates, so I can only assume that the chimichanga, fajitas, and salads were tasty as well. If you are in DuPont Circle, give it a try!More

This restuarant was recommended by our hotel concierge and we were glad they did. Huge indoor seating space and some outside seating as well. Food was very good as was the service.
