Visited and had nice time but the food wasn't great. Had meatballs for the first course. They were as dry as can be. Had veal chop and was disappointed in how wet it was underneath the skin. Too much oil was used. My wife also had her sides overcooked (green beans should not be floppy and as soft as baby... More

Went on a Friday evening and valet parking was free. The staff was second to none. This could easily rate as a 5 Star establishment. Even the water glass seem to have had a person especially assigned to never allow it to fall below half full. From appetizers to desserts I have nothing but praise for this establishment. The mussels... More

My wife and I went here for our anniversary with our 11 year old daughter. We had grilled octopus and scallops/gnocchi for an appetizer and enjoyed both. The complimentary bread was very good and was serviced with balsamic vinegar/oil. Out daughter had the spaghetti. I thought it would be too plain, but with the homemade noodles and sauce she at... This is a nice Tuscany style restaurant with an excellent selection of starters, entrees and desserts. The atmosphere is warm, staff are polite and very helpful. Service is perfect in terms of service time. I had the trout and calamari .. Both excellent. Would definitely recommend.

We were visiting DC and came across a Groupon for this restaurant. It is a lovely, upscale environment which we really enjoyed. We dined late on a Monday night and there were very few diners so we experienced extremely attentive service which made for a lovely experience. I am sure that when it is busy it wouldn't be quite the... More

Went there for restaurant week at lunch time. It was my first time at his place and I enjoyed every minute or it. The special menu offered all the specialties of the Card. The risotto as a started was simply delicious and creamy. The pasta with shrimps and zucchini was also very good and no, we did not put parmesan... More

I had dinner at I Ricchi one night during Restaurant Week, which might not show the restaurant in its best light. That said, it was a decidedly disappointing experience. My appetizer – a risotto – had a luscious texture, but virtually no taste other than that from the unexpectedly huge spoonful of Parmesan that my server dumped on top. My... More

I never pass up an Italian restaurant that makes it's own pasta and this one was perfect. Tossed with just the right amount of fresh tomatoes, basil, and olive oil, and cooked al dente-----MMMmmmm! The chard with garlic and olive oil was so creamy (without any cream!) and a great side to the pasta. It was restaurant week and my... More
