Visited with my son and his fiance. We all felt the atmosphere, staff, and food were excellent. Waiter recommended scallop appetizer and Kale plate as dishes we could share...and they were fantastic.

My wife and I have been coming to D.C. annually for a conference for about 13 years. We discovered Bombay Club about 5 years ago and, now, we dine there every visit. We have introduced it to our daughter and her boyfriend and, most recently, my wife's best girlfriend. The Bombay Club is styled after a turn of the 20th... More

I have tried Indian food, but only at mall-țype buffets. When my daughter announced that she wanted Indian food on her birthday, I acted enthused, but sort of dreaded dinner. MISTAKE! I loved this place from the second we sat down, and loved it out even more when we left. My husband and I knew we were out of our... More

We've eaten a lot of Indian food but this is definitely the best. We had decided on an appetizer but the waiter prevailed on us to get the flash fried Kale - it was incredible. Our entrees were also really good, We had been to Bombay Club 4 years ago when visiting Wash DC and the food was just as... More

We ate last night at The Bombay Club: elegant, white tablecloth, tables not on top of other guests, professional staff that knows of which they speak, and fantastic food. This place does it years after year, it is a treasure. Our selections this night were Mulligatawny Soup, Crab Masala, Paneer Makhni, Dal Makhni, Laccha Faratha, Truffle Naan, rice and a... More

You feel as if you were in some British club in Bombay. The food is really good. I had a Club Thali (an assortment of different stews) that was excellent. My friends also liked the food a lot. The only issue was that they brought the beverages and dishes in a very unsynchronized fashion, which speaks of poor management of... More

Had business dinner here. Food was very good, service was attentive, cocktails (I had Martini) was well made. Quiet enough to have conversation. Not inexpensive, esp. for Indian food.

Beautiful restaurant with relaxing piano music. Vegetarian thali (Bombay thali) was $23, and good. My only suggestion is that the restaurant change coffee brands. My coffee was very hot, but not much tastier than hot water. Most diners these days appreciate a really good, flavorful, and strong coffee.
